British Birds [3 DVD BOXSET]

The description of this product is misleading. For towns, parks and gardens it gives information on 5 birds, song thrush, starling, robin, blue tit and goldfinch and that is it. So many common birds missed and the less frequent ones too. The information supplied is good but if you are buying this box set in order to learn the songs of common birds or identify different birds in your garden or when out and about, don't buy this set.

Excellent service and just what we wanted. It helps us identify all the birds that come into our garden. Some we were getting wrong but this dvd has put us on the right track.

Excellent information video. It has an educational feel about it as it is very factual and there is none of the BBC style drama and scenery. At first I was a bit disappointed as I was used to the Iolo Williams and David Attenborough approach but soon came to love these videos for different reasons. Highly recommended for those who want to learn about birds rather than simply watch them. Great price too.

A general video guide to the UK favourite birds - will help beginners well without too much detail so it really good to start with.

Grandaughter who loves birds really like it

Ordered 1st Jan and received on 8th January. Excellent series, very informative and a good buy for the natural history home library.The series breaks up the country into various areas and you are then shown the various birds which frequent that habitat.

Nothing wrong with the content but beware that these are the same DVDs as those in the product entitled "British Birds and Birdlife Box Set"
