Can the Bullrider be as daring in love as he is on a bull?
If you liked Dante and Ryan in "A Wild Ride," you should love reading about Ryan's rodeo-fan best-friend Jacky's story.Jacky falls for a new, young bull-rider who is just finding his way, both in growing up and being an adult and in his sexuality. Of course the road to true love is not a smooth one as Jacky has experienced heartache due to a closeted lover--who ended up married but still cruising-- before. And Simon is definitely a risk since he's grown up trying to be a good son to his strongly Christian parents with their view of homosexuality as a sin. He's barely been able to explore his own sexuality, much less commit to a relationship. But sometimes people can be stronger than anyone expects. It was great seeing the couple from the first book as strong secondary characters. This is definitely another solid, enjoyable read from Andrew Grey.

3.5 Stars
I felt so bad for Simon when his dad found out he was gay, but I thought he handled it splendidly. Parents are supposed to love their children and support them. Religion can be so divisive, though. I am glad that, after his parents calmed down a bit that they were more accepting, even if they didn't agree.I remember having a conversation with my mother when I was 19 or so when she mentioned that one of her sister's kids was gay and what a shame it was that said kid (who was an adult) was choosing that lifestyle. I asked my mom when she "chose" to be heterosexual. Who chooses to be ostracized? But I digress...As usual, I enjoyed Andrew Grey's story telling and the way he brought the characters together. This is an enjoyable series.

Amazing Writer - Great Book
I just love Andrew Grey's writing. He can bring in the hardship and sweetness of a budding relationship. This book is no different in giving you the depth of despair on both sides and the fears of being who you really are and accepting it, or risk losing what could be a a chance at love. There hasn't been a book I've read of his that I can't wait to get back to finish reading it. I am always ready for the next book of his series. This is a book you can read over again and again.

Another great ride!
Visiting with old friends Dante, Ryan, Jacky and Simon. I read this series two years ago and decided to take a second look. Get ready for the pulling of your heart strings, tears and a damn good read. Andrew's trilogy is as good the second time around as it was the first; possibly better because the characters seem so comfortably familiar. I highly recommend this and any of Andrew's books.

thrown for a loop coming out gay as a bull rider
Warm and sensitive story. It almost could be an instruction manual for young men discovering and affirming their being gay. Also this an adventure in bull riding, in family relations and in discovering friendship but most of all love
