Four and a half stars. Brilliant late-period Willie Nelson, simple as that. People say there is no real follow-up to his classic Red Headed Stranger. Baloney, this is it. Just Willie on that sweet gut-string guitar (with a hole worn in it from overplaying!), his sister on piano and Johnny Gimble on fiddle this is the sound of sweet C&W genius. Oh yeah, Willie contributes some of his best songs in ages and ages and ages for this. Just check out Too Sick To Pray or the awkwardly titled I Guess I've Come To Live Here In Your Eyes. This is remarkable music, something for all the family, something which will last throughout the ages.

One word....O U T S T A N D I N G....This is a must have cd......I can't stop playing it...it is incredible. Willie Nelson at his very best with Trigger.I bought this as I watched him perform "She is Gone" on BBC 4 and was stunned by the beauty of this song.....the whole album is in a similar vain. I guarantee you will be singing these tracks to yourself almost immediately NO DOUBT....BUY IT....YOU ILL NOT BE DISSAPOINTED

Lovely cd! I love Willie Nelson but I prefer his ballads to other stuff he does! This cd is a lovely calming easy listen.
