Exact fit.
A little RTV, and a little tap in the place. No leaks works great.

Do not buy this part. It is similar to the original but does not fit into the water pump.

inlet tube was fine, o ring defective
used this for my dodge 2500, stem worked well, but oring came in unusable condition, luckily thats an easy part to source locally.over all I'm pleased, but if you didn't have access to backup o- rings it would be a real bummer to still be out of commission. Suggest ordering extra o ring kit in case yours comes like mine.

Replacement
Replaced the water pump and gasket and wanted to replace my old heater core line with it. Rubber oring did brake apart when installing with a small amount of lubricant so just wrapped it with high temp rtv. No leaks present for the last couple weeks.

Machined it to big wouldn't fit
They machine it a tad to big it kept popping the O Ring.Wouldn't fit in new one or my old one. Went to auto parts store bought one and it slipped right in

Doesn’t fit
Product looks fine, but does not fit. It is larger than the original. I have a 98 dodge ram 1500.
