Eats batteries and there is NO SUPPORT or WARRANTY
I end up going through 4 brand new batteries every 2 weeks. There is no support and apparently no warranty on this clearly defunct product. I've tried multiple times to contact the company (also did I mention there is not even a phone number to call), and am getting no response.

Shutoff Valve Works Seamlessly
Wally's Shutoff Value is top notch. I recently ordered the 1 inch version directly from Wally. They offer 3 size options -- 3/4", 1" and 1 1/4" ball valves that couple to the automatic water shutoff valve. Both the shutoff valve (gray part) and ball valve (brass part) are high quality. The look and feel is very nice. The design is clean.Installation: I chose to install this system in my garage where my water main entered my home. I cut back the drywall to access the part of copper pipe where I wanted the water shutoff valve. I also chose to hire a plumber as working with the main is a bit more complicated than a DIY project and I didn't want to use shark bite connectors on my water main. Also I chose to install the shutoff valve with union connectors so I could easily replace the ball valve down the road if needed without having to call a plumber. My plumber charged me $220. Overall installation was pretty straightforward. The shutoff valve comes with decent instructions. With those instructions and some common sense, I had no issues getting the valve installed. There were a couple installation details may help you:- Yes, all batteries polarities are pointed the same direction.- There is a brass screw that has a slot in it on top of the gray shutoff valve. When installing the gray shutoff valve, you want that brass screw slot to align with the orientation of your ball valve at start up. If the ball valve is closed (which is what you want during installation), you want the brass screw slot to be perpendicular to the direction of your copper line that you are installation into. This step will be important when initializing your system at start up. The system needs to know what state the valve is in when it starts (closed or open). Once that is defined, your app will track that state and any changes. The brass screw slot is your visual marker to tell you if it is closed or open. Thus you want that right.- The sensors are not integrated to the shutoff valve upon start up. You have to set that configuration up using the app on your PC browser. The shutoff valve on your app will allow you to select which sensors you want to operate the shutoff valve. I selected all of the for me. But if you use your sensors for doors or windows too, you don't want to select those. Otherwise you may end up shutting off your water main when a door or window is opened. :)Operation: Once all was installed and configured, the system worked seamlessly. Any sensor that is configured to trigger the auto shutoff valve worked perfectly. You can check status on your mobile app or PC browser and see whether the shutoff value is opened or closed. This is a very nice system and it is fairly low cost for the functionality and quality. This would have cost thousands a few years ago. Now we can do some some disaster prevention for a relatively low cost. It is amazing how many friends or co-workers that have come home to a giant water mess and how disruptive it was. Wally's system will greatly help to contain what can be a huge home disaster.

No home should be without this!
I speak from experience I installed the Shutoff Valve a few weeks before I went out of the country. One night the hot water tank sensor went off and sent to my phone it had detected water. Since I designated that sensor to automatically have the Shutoff valve shut off the water it closed the valve without me having to do a thing. I called the person who we had watching the house and he was an hour away and when he showed up to the house he only saw a little puddle by the hot water tank so he wasn’t sure where the water was coming from. So I turned on the valve from my phone and water started shooting out of the top of the hot water tank. He than shut the water going to the hot water tank and all was good. If I did not have the Wally Shutoff Valve I would have had hundreds if not thousands of gallons of water in my basement. This is by far the best smart home device I have ever installed in my home.
