Incredibly gentle yet effective! My family wants one for ease of use since they're getting up there in years. ●The soap froths up easily so you can use less. ●My skin feels better after one use. ●It's easier to clean for sure and i feel better about using this. ●Machine washable?! I have been a fan of this brand’s net sponges for a while, but this was my first time ordering from Amazon. It did not disappoint! The net sponge is abrasive enough to help cleanse skin in the shower, but soft enough to not feel like you are rubbing your skin raw. It lathers up nicely and is super stretchy. There are strings on each side of the sponge that make it easier to wash your back, and leave an opportunity for hanging when done with your shower. The only slightly negative thing I’d say is that these strings DO wear out overtime, but that is so be expected and doesn’t make it unusable. This product also is able to be washed in the washer/dryer which is convenient and I’ve never had a problem with doing this! Something to note though which I thought was interesting was the color. The first sponge I bought was the indigo color and it came looking more like a deep violet. For this purchase, I got the navy blue and it looks more like a true indigo (2/3 blue 1/3 red). Although, I’m not complaining! Both colors were beautiful! I just thought I’d note this if you are kind of particular about the color of your product. Overall, I would say this is a must for your shower routine. It helps get soap into a nice foamy lather, scrubs away germs/old skin, and makes it easy to reach hard to reach areas (such as your back). I would highly recommend! Could also make a good gift, especially if you buy one of the 4-packs

10/10 Bought several of these for my family and they work great! They are exfoliating without being too harsh in my opinion. Their shape and stretchiness allows them to be used in many different ways, very versatile shape. They are large and can stretch across my back, I am rather tall and have broad shoulders, good of you struggle with shoulder mobility. The colors are vibrant, however I would rinse them a few times as depending on the color they can leech/shed slightly upon first use. These Net sponges are very durable and after over 6 months of use they aren't visibly damaged or worn like a loofa would be. I live in a dry climate and haven't noticed any smell or odor, their shape lets them dry quickly. They were inexpensive and are good value due to their longevity.

I’m really enjoying this African net sponge. It does an excellent job of exfoliating my skin without being too harsh. I love how it reaches areas that are difficult to scrub with a regular washcloth, and it leaves my skin feeling clean, smooth, and refreshed. It’s durable, easy to rinse, and dries quickly between uses. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase and would definitely buy it again.

I almost gave up trying to find the "right" African net sponge because most of them out there are ROUGH. And not "good exfoliating" rough either...more like "did I accidentally order sandpaper?" rough. The ones that feel less like skincare and more like you're prepping your deck. I guess if your goal is removing a few layers of skin or maybe a small tattoo, then sure...those are perfect. THIS one is the real thing. Stretchy, soft enough to use comfortably, but still exfoliates well. The lather is fantastic...you'll feel cleaner but also use less soap so it's win-win. My skin felt soft afterwards, not like I lost a fight with a cheese grater. The color was much darker than shown but that doesn't bother me. No odor at all when I opened the package. It's easy to care for...just rinse it clean and hang to dry. If you've been burned by those stiff, scratchy fakes trust that this is the one you've been looking for.

Love the African net sponges. Exfoliating and cleansing at the same time make these very effective. They are gentile enough to not be super abrasive, yet the knots give just enough scratch to let you feel very buffed. They are extremely easy to use, long and stretchy so that you can easily scrub your back. As a single gal, I love this. They rinse clean quickly and dry extremely fast so there is no mold. They have always held up to repeated washing. I have ordered many from this brand directly, but this was my first time ordering from Amazon. I put together everything shower baskets as gifts. So, when going for a certain color scheme, it was very disappointing to have ordered this beautiful baby blue, but to have been send a navy blue. So the product itself is amazing however if you really want a certain color, you may not get it. Other then it being for the basket, I don't care about the color. The seller did refund my money after 2 attempts to get baby blue and not navy.

Great authentic African net sponge. Some others you can purchase are nothing more than mesh. That it not the case with this one. It has the knots tied between each part of the netting. This sponge gives just the right about of exfoliation without scraping you raw. It’s the perfect size to both bunch up with shower gel to get a great lather going and to stretch out to get your back clean. You can use it in a variety of ways to get everything clean. Body wash foams up great with this. I hung a command hook on the back wall of my shower and hang it to dry after using it. Since it isn’t bunched up, it dries completely and no risk of growing mold like with a body poof. And I like how it looks hanging in my shower. It gives it a little splash of color. I’ve been using this for about 6 months now and it’s still as good as the day I got it. For the price, it’s a great value having something you don’t have to replace every month.

I grew up using traditional loofahs, but over time I realized how rough they can be on your skin and how quickly they hold bacteria. I tried switching to a Sud Scrub hoping for something better, but the lather and overall performance just weren't what I expected I finally decided to try an African net sponge, and it completely changed my routine. The reach is amazing especially for my back and the exfoliation is effective without being too harsh. It lathers better, dries faster, and feels much cleaner than anything I've used before. I'm genuinely impressed with the difference. I love it, and I'm glad I made the switch. Thank you.

I was skeptical at first to be quite honest, it was a lot of money to dish out on a bath sponge that I wasn't even sure I'd like. The item went on sale though, and I figured I would give it a shot after seeing so many people rave about it. The packaging says this should last up to 2 years, which for ~$20 is dirt cheap. I've tried natural sponges, loofahs, exfoliating sponges, shower gloves, all of it and they're about $5-7 and say to replace them after only 3 months. I would just wash them in hot water and keep using them but they lasted 6 months at most before losing their pizzazz. I also found myself using sooo much soap in regular sponges and reapplyingore soap halfway through my wash. I used probably less than half the amount of soap that I usually do and still had suds left over after fully washing, no re-application half way through. Already, I'm saving money and Soap, and therefore, more money. So even if this net sponge was subpar, it wouldn't be a bad purchase, but that isn't the case. Having psoriasis and eczema, usually after a bath while drying off I can see my skin peels and roll off, my legs especially. I can't use anything too harsh without exacerbating my symptoms either so I've just learned to deal with the constant feeling and texture of poor skin. After using this sponge, without any excessive scrubbing, I didn't see skin peel from my legs while drying. For the first time, as long as I can remember, my skin feels genuinely clean and fresh. It's soft. I've endured through awful sponge textures in the hope of soft skin in the past but the African Net Sponge doesn't feel scratchy. It has texture, sure, but it's gentle. Needless to say, I'm in love and wish I had tried this product sooner. Cons? There are a few but the Pros far outweigh them. It can be a little awkward to hold at first, being used to a traditional sponge, but you get used to it. Even with boiling it before use, the first wash had some dye/color come out. This doesn't last though, by the second use it is gone. Being so stretchy and a net, it can be a bit difficult to get the water out of it once you're done washing. I told it in half and sling it a bit before hanging it but if your shower is enclosed/has walls then it won't be an issue.

I have been using this for months and it is still new. I was very skeptical at first but now I am in love with it. It makes my skin so smooth and doesn't feel too scratchy. It is pretty long which is perfect to scrub my back. It dries up quickly and is way better that loofas since it doesn't accumulate any bacteria.

Very practical, seems legit. I love how much easier it is to wash my back now! I was using loofahs before so I'm used to a lot of exfoliation. I would say that the net sponge is a bit less exfoliating than loofahs when holding each end in one hand, but just as exfoliating or more so if you use it as a bunch. I'm especially pleased with the exfoliation for my feet, it works better than a pumice stone! And of course, being able to clean it and not having to replace it every few months is great. It also dries more quickly than a loofah which contributes to making it more hygienic. I wish I'd done the switch earlier!
