It will easily hold 20-25 sheets of paper. Width of binding bar cavity is 1/8 inch that will spread to 1/4 inch.

Used the long edge binding clip to hold vinyl albums closed

My daughter has a few Beatles albums on the wall. The open edge wouldn't stay closed. Got these to keep it together. Looks better on the wall/vinyl shelf.
