Expensive, but made really well. It's a heavy fishpole mount for easy clamping in C-stand cuffs. Thick rubber to prevent the pole from sliding, even when fully extended. Again, no complaints on quality. Just a little on the expensive side.

I mounted this on a head grip and surprisingly... it works. For the price, I didn't expect it to work to be honest. Given the price, it serves as a backup or as a budget-friendly alternative to other boom pole holders. I wouldn't put a lot of weight on it though. It's not fragile, but I don't trust boom pole holders in general. Try to keep the weight low, so a microphone, for example, is a perfect device to mount onto the boom pole. It's lightweight. In fact, it's actually what I mounted onto the boom pole. In the end, I do recommend this boom pole holder. Pros + Rubberized coating + Sturdy, robust build quality Cons - None really.

I've picked up a few of these boom pole holders over the years from various brands, and most of them are pretty cheaply made. They get the job done, but as soon as I pulled this out of the box I realized it was different. It feels significantly heavier than the ones I already own, which might be bad for some people, but with a heavier boom pole I felt that this thing was rock-solid. I have mine attached to a pole that's connected to my desk and it works beautifully. If you're using this in a run-and-gun type of situation it might be a little bit heavier than expected, but I think that given how strong this is you might end up liking it. Perfect for my use!

This is a well made and effective support for a boom pole. It's basic but does exactly what it needs to do, provide easy access and grip to hold a boom. For the sake of photos I just mounted the holder on a small tripod but it was clear to see it will be great on a large C stand or any other firm mount to hold a boom. One item I will probably add to my rig is a sand bag for use with the boom when on the stand. I have a long boom and will likely need the offset. Bottom line on this is it's a very good value and should work well for most boom applications.
