WXD Trumpet Case (ABS-2)

I like the hard sides. I like the molded-in neck and mouthpiece holders. I appreciate the storage, but it's slightly smaller than other tenor sax cases I've owned, and I'm forced to break down my two-sax/flute stand into its component pieces to make them fit into the existing storage area. It works, but means a bit more time wasted setting up the stand and tearing it down at the end of a gig.

I'm very happy with this case. Fits my P Mauriat tenor quite snugly, As per info documents, this is normal, and case will break in to conform. I imagine the gauge of plastic might be a tad thicker on the SKB, but I like a case that has a dedicated spot for my mouthpiece, as this one does, (SKB did not), and I think this case will work just fine, unless it falls off a cliff.

Got this for my daughters clarinet that was handed down from my wife. Everything fits just fine, but really no extra storage like we thought. My daughter is rough on things and has been banging this thing around for months and it’s just now showing a little wear. Not bad at all for the money. And the strap is a wonderful extra.

I bit small for older saxes such as Martin's with the sqaure pad protectors that extend a bit farther than the newer saxes. I'm hoping my older sax with quietly conform to this case without much trouble, instead of sending the case back. I think it will conform. If not I will re-write this product review so that others do not make the same mistake. There are other cases that provide more room. I think the Gator cases might be one.

It is a very nice case and the trumpet fits snuggly inside. The only notable issue is the shoulder strap connectors to the case are useless. They bent open and failed after the first attempt. The only saving grace is that they can be replaced with circular rings that holds keys.

This is a good case. Not the thickest gauge of plastic I've seen--I wouldn't put it on a plane. But it's good for everyday carting around town. It was a bit of a tight squeeze for my old Conn sax, but the foam accommodated it well enough.

Works great for my son’s circa 1970s King Lemaire tenor sax. The horn fits nicely and snugly. It’s heavier and longer than the case that came with the used sax, but it still fit in the cubbies in the HS band room.

This is a well made case and fits my son's Yamaha tenor sax perfectly. Hinges, latches and fit close well. Much sturdier than some of the other aftermarket cases I have looked at. Padding is sufficient. Good Purchase and Price. No regrets.
