Cheap but functional
I bought this melamine dinnerware because I already have melamine cups, which I use frequently to microwave coffee. These are stated not to be microwave safe, so I tried a bowl and found that it gets hot after only 15 seconds. Looking at the bottoms of the bowls and plates, there is no imprinting whatsoever as to the type of material, or the manufactures name, nothing. This makes me wonder what the material really is.The graphics are so-so, looking like olden 8-bit graphic design.Otherwise, as to usability, they are just fine as tableware, and are easy to clean afterwards.Would I buy another set? No.
