To activate the pens,there is a black ring between the lid and the barrel. Unscrew them apaart
remove the ring and re-connect the two halves. Then gently squeeze the barrel (where it says push) and you'll see the ink flowing into the tip,just below the brush. The ink will then flow into the brush and be ready to use. DO NOT OVER SQUEEZE
OR BLOBBING WILL OCCUR. Just very very light squeezing is all that is needed
