New Balance Men's MW411v2 Walking Shoe

these are the best shoes yet I have found for my treadmill use. my 608v5 and 813's were just too heavy for that purpose. my heel would drag on the belt and the heel would wear out after only 2 months. these are super light for walking shoes. also made well.. fit is excellent as with most NB shoes I have. for those of you using this shoe for standing all day on cement floors, just take out the insole that comes with the shoe and replace with a high quality NB orthotic like the pressure relief insole neutral or plush foam insole or general athletic pu insole and this shoe will work for that. although if used for that purpose will probably last 1 year or less. after all this is for walking and made accordingly. meaning lightweight and comfy. if looking for work shoes go with the 608v5 with the insole it comes with or get your own orthotic as the shoe has enough toe room for most of them. also try the 680v6 running shoe for treadmill use or work as it is more comfortable and lighter than the 608v5 by about 5-6 ounces. all in all a good shoe for the money. would recommend to anyone.

My husband is particular about his sneakers but has always liked New Balance well the first pair arrived and fit like a glove and so comfortable and a light sneaker so easy to walk in ,he liked them alot so i bought him a second pair did some research and found out that out of mostly all sneakers brands New Balance is made here in the U.S so that was definitely a plus thankyou New Balance, quality.

Good comfortable walking shoe but definitely 100% runs large. All my other shoes are size 8 and had to exchange for a 7.5 and even then still roomy. I recommend ordering 1/2 size smaller or you will end up exchanging which was ok since but I got free return shipping. I ordered 7.5 EE and this size has a roomy round toe box which is what I was looking for so my toes don't feel squeezed. Comfortable well padded sole but arch support is minimal and mesh over the toe box is not really suited for cold winter weather is not waterproof. When I walk outside in windy cold days you can easily feel the wind thru the toe box and when I stepped into some water, the water soaked thru the toe box and got my socks wet so I had very cold wet feet. Had to change socks and shoes. Also don't drop anything on your toe since mesh provides absolutely no protection. If this would bother you, get the black leather shoe and not the mesh shoe. A great spring to fall shoe as the mesh cools down your feet. Overall I would buy again and wear a leather shoe during walks outside in cold winter and rainy weather.

I'm a big NB fan BUT, I had trouble walking in these. My left ankle would buckle towards the outside. The bottom of these are like nothing I've seen before and will stay away from next time. I put on my older NB shoes, and couldn't bend my ankle that way if I tried with them on. I believe I'm pronated slightly but this was ridiculous.

I will continue buying this shoe as long as they make it. It's very comfortable, last a long time, gives great support and holds up to an active lifestyle. I recommend this to anyone seeking a comfortable walking shoe.

Don't purchase these shoes unless you enjoy painful feet. They are advertised to be walking shoes, that is not the case. I'm on my feet for eight hours per day, and I thought a new pair of walking shoes would support my feet. I would rather walk on broken glass and nails with bare feet for eight hours rather than wear these shoes for 30 minutes ! Don't believe all the wonderful reviews of these shoes. I had a pair of Skeeters shoes that were about 1 year old that I threw out when these shoes arrived. I should of kept these shoes, even though they were old, they still felt better than my new shoes. If you want some painful shoes to wear purchase these.Before purchasing these shoes, make sure you know how to say OUCH many different ways, my feet still hurt !

Bought on April 4th and have worn off and on to walk around my block after work a few nights a week and they look like I've been wearing them for years. The mesh ripped on the right shoe which you can see in the picture and I've had to put t rex tape on the heels inside because they both ripped away from inside of shoe. Also, the suede part in the front of the shoes has begun to discolor and fall apart. I've been a New Balance customer for a long time but this should not happen from a pair of shoes of their quality or any pair of shoes for that matter that costs $50.

I purchased these for my husband after his previous shoes wore out - in the time of the pandemic, we're walking a lot! From the first day that he tried them, he's had nothing but good things to say about the shoes as far as comfort and fit are concerned. I'll come back to update the review once they've been through a month or two of our daily 3-4 mile walks.

The New Balance runner was not quite as what I expected. Fit was ok. The shoe looked good. After wearing them all day I must comment on how they were not as comfortable as I had hoped for.

I like the comfort. Definitely one of my beat walking shoes
