My son absolutely loves this toy! Only buy this if you want your child to excel in figuring out how electricity works in everything!! he’s not even 2 and now knows how to work half of the buttons in the car thanks to this toy! 🤦🏻‍♀️😅 anyways this is a phenomenal educational toy. It’s easy to use. It’s convenient to travel with and has minimal sound. It’s very cute as well

I was unable to find this information here or on the box- so if you're wondering, it takes 3 AA batteries. Now that our toddler has opened it, there's good news and bad news. Good news: he loved it... the lights, sounds, and manipulable objects were fascinating to him, especially the horn on the steering wheel. Bad news: It shuts off with the slightest amount of jarring. We eventually discovered that this was from the batteries coming loose, so I cut a piece of cardboard to insert into the compartment to keep them in place (MacGyver?). But sadly, the horn stopped working, and I was unable to find a way to fix that. This all happened within a day or two of use. So I don't recommend this for a 1-1/2 -year-old, or any toddler who might be rough on it... which is pretty much all toddlers.

The batteries don't stay put so the lights and noises do not work ever! Don't buy this toy if you want those things to work. I have passed my window to return, or I'd return it now. I have to keep on opening up the battery area and push them flush into the area. Once my kid plays for a few seconds, it turns off again. Horrible engineering

I bought this for my 1 yr old grandson for Christmas. He loved it. He kept gravitating to this toy. It’s wood and has buttons to push, levers to toggle, lights that come on. A key to turn the board “on”. Much like using a car. Turn signals. Very high quality and made well. A little bulky to travel with but it fit well in their suitcase to travel home, but this may not be one you throw in the diaper bag to haul around. A perfect at home toy.

This wooden busy board has been one of the best purchases for my toddler! It keeps her busy all day long with so many different activities to explore. The light switch is her favorite, but she also enjoys every little detail, and I love that it helps build her fine motor skills and problem-solving abilities while she’s having fun. It’s also lightweight enough to bring along for car rides or travel, which has been a huge help for keeping her entertained on the go. The lights and sounds it makes are very entertaining to my 1 year old. The problem is that I need to keep a screw driver on hand to put the batteries back in place when they fall out of the slots underneath it.

This is a great busyboard when it works! I gifted to my son on Christmas and in the last two weeks, it stopped working. I went to replace the batteries and they were HOT to the touch. So hot the wrapper on the battery started melting/separating. Will be returning for a refund due to the possibility of a fire hazard. He really loved the busy board which is a bummer!

My 2year old loves this. Especially on road trips. This is a great alternative for screen time. The batteries did die after only a couple of plays.
