After 2 days flying, this is my first experience with flying in the goggles and so far this has been great. It’s really very easy to fly with the joystick, Im am looking forward to the release of the controller which is preferable to me after many years experience with helicopters, gliders drones etc. still a lot of fun with the controller and soon very comfortable to fly.. If you are thinking you might like this, all I can say is get out there and buy it straight away. The goggles fit very well with no light leaking into your eyes from the edge of the goggles. I guess this will just be ok for some and maybe not others. I did find it difficult to get the txt and graphics perfectly in focus with either lenses supplied, but what I found is that once you had the goggles on for a bit it soon was managable, your eyes adjusted. Overall this is a great bit of kit and I’ve had 2 days flying in the Somerset countryside and I’m more than happy

I bought so my teenage son could join me when I go flying. This is a great into into FPV. The motion controller allows someone with no skill to fly instantly. It's almost magic just how simple this is to fly. You will still need to learn to fly manual mode to go beyond the limitations of assisted flight at some point but you can take this out day one and have great fun. The package has everything you will need to start out although you will want a proper controller to learn to fly properly. The downside with the quad is the weight. It is over 250 Grams and limits where you can legally fly. The googles 3 are a great improvement over the older googles 2 with a better fit and improved clarity around the edges. The big down let down at the moment is they are not compatible the DJI's existing FPV systems. This will most likely change down the line but currently, If you are looking at this as a entry into the wider FPV sport the these goggles are limited to the Avata 2 (and some DJI camera drones) The DJI Vista and O3 video transmitters will not work with the goggles 3 This is also nowhere near as strong as the original Avata and are not user serviceable so make sure to get DJI care. You will crash flying FPV, or your not doing it properly. Just go to DJI website, put in your serial before you bind and fly the first time and for £89 you are covered for 2 years against everything, it's a great service.

Brilliant little drone it can do some amazing things via hand tracking mobile phone or using the goggles N3 I bought this kit for the fpv so I could later buy the avata 2 drone only kit to kink to the same goggles and controller a week later I did. Just that it's very simple and means I don't need 2 goggles and 2 controllers just bring the drones and switch the link in the east to use googles job done honestly if your fpv curious this is the kit for you plus U have an awesome track me drone for other stuff well worth the mony

This is a BRILLIANT FPV Avata 2 drone, the “combo” was worth every penny? Only flown this drone twice as the weather has been awful. It flies like a dream and has been a complete new experience for me to fly. Previously I had the Mini 4 Pro …….this is a complete new beast !

This drone is fantastic every flight I got over 20mins, it’s so easy to get going and fly with the joystick and so much fun, the included headset is crystal clear I’ve actually never used a headset that I can easily see branches with

I was not sure between camera drones and FPVs. The best candidates were Mini 4 Pro/Air 3 & Avata 2. They all have the same O4 signal system. Mini and Air drones has advantages in their camera, 360 obstacle avoidance feature (useful in manual use and vital when autonomous tracking) . All have same camera features but Mini 4 Pro has 4K vertical shot and Air 3 has a second 3X zoom lens. Air has bigger body close to Mavic series and around 750 grams where Mini is 259 and Avata is 370 grams. Heavy drones are much more stable in windy air. Avata has VR style googles which is excellent part of the fun. You feel you are flying. With this device you can control the camera view with head movements as well.

Love this drone! I unboxed and carefully followed the instructions charging all the items first then spending the evening watching and reading all the info and videos before first flight the next day. After spending the large amount of money they cost I was obviously nervous for my first flight using the goggles and motion controller. My first flight was basically up and down with a few spins just to enjoy the view. Second flight I took off the beginner mode and wow let the fun begin! I took it up to max altitude then flew down our mountain and across the very large river 2 km away. I did not even have one pixel loss on the video I was watching! On the way back I I still had some battery left and I got a little cocky and decide to fly it around a group of tall trees just a few feet away and it was so easy to do. With the point and fly function it is so easy to land wit the aircraft proximity sensors taking care of you not crashing it. As I hovered over my back yard I decided to let the battery go to minimum and engage the auto Return to Home feature which kicked in and worked like a charm. The video is so good in the googles, this coupled with the eye correction included actually gives you the sensation of flight. I cant wait to go out with it again today!

Produit très bien emballé, la boite DJI arrivant en très bon état avec l'ensemble des stickers de sécurité et de protection. Au déballage, on est dans le même niveau de finition et de qualité que APPLE. Aussi déballé, aussi mis en charge : prévoir un chargeur puissant avec 3 sorties pour pouvoir charger en parallèle le drone, les googles et le motion controler. Une fois chargé à bloc, on allume, on branche le téléphone, on lance DJI Fly, on suit les instructions et tout fonctionne parfaitement. La vision dans les lunettes est excellente : réglage de l'écartement inter-pupille, de la dioptrie (des adaptateurs sont livrés pour les plus miro comme moi). Les commandes sont facile à prendre en main et le premier vol se fait sans encombre et est tres plaisant. Tout les réglages se font facilement directement dans les googles. Reste plus qu'a apprivoiser la bête pour en tirer toute sa quintessence. Que du bonheur.
