I put this in my Asus and it works just fine. It plugged right into place with no issues. I am happy to have this. It allowed me to increase the SSD size. I don't have any complaints with this at all. Definitely 5 stars.

Here's a well-designed adapter that will give you the opportunity to increase the onboard memory of the ASUS ROG Ally. What it does is to turn the SSD slot 90 degrees to take advantage of the greater length of the Ally for the longer contemporary SSD formats. Then with fast memory sticks of up to 4TB, that will boost the working space by a factor of 8. So, so easy to install with detailed instructions (no voiding of the ASUS warranty either).
