Great for L. Reuteri Yogurt!
I only bought this to feed the bacteria in my L. Reuteri yogurt. I just started making it a couple of months ago. The yogurt turns out perfect at 98 degrees with almost no separation.Perfect!

Works great, but start out slowly.
This is a great fibre with lots of health benefits. Fair warning. Start out with a small dose and work your way up or you will be tooting all day.

As described ~
I’m just completing my third batch of Lactobacillus Reuteri “yogurt” using this organic inulin with either reuteri capsules or a culture from the previous batch. Very successful so far - the yogurt is spectacular and so delicious! We’re grateful to have found this organic ingredient!

Fartichoke effect
This Jerusalem Artichoke inulin agrees with my system better than those from Agave origin. Fine powder, mixes well, works well.

Great Product But Packaging Needs To Be Improved
This fiber is very effective and has little taste so it doesn't change the taste of whatever you mix it into. I put it into coffee and almond milk. It mixes well and quickly in both. I'm using it to replace an equal serving of inulin fiber (from chicory) from fiber gummies, so I haven't experienced any gas, bloating, etc. But...as others have noted, it's virtually impossible to get the bag to reseal once you open it. I put the whole manufacturer's bag into a name-brand ziploc bag and after a week or so that bag wouldn't seal properly, either, due to all the powder. Just opening the original bag causes powder to come up and out of it; I've been very careful not to spill any. I'm keeping it in a cool, dry place, so thus far it hasn't clumped up, as has happened to some other commenters.

JUST WHAT I WANTED
My 1st experience with Jerusalem Artichoke Powder, although I like the fresh vegetable. The fresh vegetable raw tastes like a cross between water chestnut and a potato. It’s crunchy, refreshing, slightly sweet. Cooked in soup it is more similar to a potato. So I mixed 1/4-1/3 cup in a glass of water. It tastes slightly sweet, no grit whatsoever, it wasn’t bad . I used that much powder to approximate an equivalent of an egg size portion of the fresh vegetable. If you eat an egg size serving per week, it prevents diabetes.Unfortunately because I’ve gained weight and belly fat, recently I’ve had some blood sugar problems recently. It was very unpleasant. This is not a path I intend to go down… I’m changing my diet etc.I like that it is labeled with Jerusalem Artichoke in the name on this product. Because I’m new to all this, and I saw Inulin powder on some other packages, I got lost and sidetracked by that. That is different, and many times it’s a huge nuisance to find the actual ingredient information. I don’t appreciate when you have to search all over for information. That seems deceptive to me. Frustrating at least. I don’t care to support products that do that. I appreciate that this product has upfront labeling. I would buy this again.
