Cheap to buy, but factor in the time to fit and it's less of a bargain. This is a bit of a craft project - you assemble various bits and figure it out as you go along. Just to test if it is working you would need to invest over 1 hour's work, and buy some flex too (not included). The dealbreaker for me was the massive (2kg or more) transformer - you need to screw this onto a solid wall - I did not expect this. Clearly technology has moved on and this is obsolete, hence the price, LED can all be much lighter. After 30 mins struggle, the transformer falling apart (my fault no doubt) I packed it in, goes in the bin. Not recommended unless you are patient and have time on your hands, plus do think about where to put that hulking transformer. One of my worse buys on Amazon, and I've bought and fitted LED ceiling lights before no problem, and I'm probably above average on DIY, but this was going to be a big timesink, and might not even work if you read other reviews. Avoid - or think carefully.

Really nice looking light setup. Quality feels really good for the price.First set I ordered was slightly damaged so I ordered another set and i contacted amazon with some photos.As always they were brilliant and offered to let me keep them for a greatly reduced price.I am glad I did because the light looks great with 10 lamps on the string instead of 5.BE SURE NOT TO USE THE HALOGEN BULBS SUPPLIED IF YOU FIT 10 LAMPS TO THE TRANSFORMER THOUGH AS IT WILL OVERLOAD IT. CHANGE THEM FOR 10Watt HALOGEN OR 2-3Watt LED's

Long awaited... as for the price looks realy nice, althought manufacturing quality turns down a bit . But there you go : installed in my man cave and works perfect ! If budget is tight this product is for you. The seller was really helpful! Thank you!

Not yet put them up, but for the price and apparent quality they appear to be excellent value, compared with other halogen cable sets, I bought 6 sets for the price of 1 of the expensive sets Also the shipping costs and they are heavy ! the postage was the same base cost of £11+ for all the sets together

Great value for the price. Unfortunately the power supply arrived damaged so returned for a refund.Before I had spotted the problem with the power supply I spent several hours trying to set the lights up. I found getting the wires tensioned, as they are shown in the pictures, was exterely difficult.

We wanted something "non-glary" to pick out the pictures on our wall./ Does the job brilliantly. Dimmable too!

Great value little lights. Used them to replace an older set of lights. They have the v small halogen bulbs which do the job.

Buy yourself some Halogen pointers as the bulbs are frosted and the glass is green.
