Do not buy this. It says it needs 2 aaa batteries but that’s not correct it needs a c2 battery and the remote doesn’t work. Absolute waste of money

I frequently mislay the original remote and had been thinking of buying a spare just in case -mainly put off by the cost of the genuine one (nearly £30) and the fact that when I go to the dyson site they seem to be constantly out of stock so I was mouching around for options and found this. The price is very reasonable so I figured even if it wasn’t perfect it might be useful. The build quality seems ok for the price, not original dyson but very acceptable. Most functions work like the original except for a slight glitch where the night mode button works but also changes the picture source on my Linsar TV to its dvd mode (doesn’t switch it back!). It’s not a significant problem for me as I don’t use night mode, especially not when I’ve got the tv on but I’ve knocked off a star. I only discovered it because I was testing that all functions worked. If thats likely to be an issue for you forewarned is for armed. I can’t speak to durability yet as only just bought it.

Works fine but nothing like the pic of the original. Cheap cheap. Will do until I can get the genuine one.
