I bought 2 of these lights for backups in the coal mine, they work great and are very bright

Lights about a 2 inch circle.A miner would definitely get lost.Don't waste your money.

Not MSHA approved
Not MSHA approved first. However I work metal non metal and intend use underground. Don't have methane to worry about. Much brighter than my orange northern lights. The northern light will stay in the dinner bucket until this proves itself.Can't speak for durability or battery life yet. It does seem to be built as well as the 300 light it was copied after.Would make a fine coon or night fishing light to I would sayUpdate- used light a month underground. If you load ANFO don't buy this light. Not the lights fault. That crap eats through everything.

Husband needed a light way out back to see in the evenings to water the buckets for our goats and sheep, He loves it. Now no needed for a flashlight anymore as he just puts this light on his head and away in the back he goes. It is very bright. Would buy this again.

Mining Cap light
Overall the light is good quality . The charging port is very sensible, you have to make sure that the indicator turns red while charging. Once completely charged it turns green.If you are using it on a cap then the fittings should be fine.If you are planning to use it with the provided elastic head band then it is not very comfortable for long time use as there is no soft padding. The hard plastic directly comes in contact with your forehead. I am using it for hunting .Also it was very hard to push this plastic attachment (which came separate)into the cap clip.Overall I am reasonably satisfied with the product for what I have Paid.($45 AUD)
