Reliable Powerhouse for Mediate Yard Maintenance
I've been tackling my overgrown backyard for years with various trimmers, but the Husqvarna 122LK has quickly become my go-to tool. I picked this up on Amazon after reading reviews about its versatility and ease of use, and it didn't disappoint. As someone with a medium-sized yard full of weeds and edges that need constant attention, this gas-powered trimmer handles it all efficiently. Right out of the box, assembly was straightforward—just attach the handle and shaft, mix the fuel (it's a 2-stroke engine), and you're ready. The Smart Start technology lives up to the hype; it fires up on the first or second pull every time, no frustrating yanks like with my old trimmer. At around 10 pounds, it's lightweight enough for extended use without fatiguing my arms, and the straight shaft design makes it great for reaching under bushes or along fences. Performance-wise, it's powerful for its size (22cc engine) and chews through thick grass and light brush with the included Tap 'N Go head. I love that it's multi-tool compatible—the detachable shaft means I can swap in other Husqvarna attachments like a pole saw or edger if I want to expand later. Fuel efficiency is decent; I get about 45-60 minutes on a full tank, which covers my whole yard. A minor downside is the noise level—it's a gas trimmer, so ear protection is a must, and the vibration can be felt after prolonged use, but that's par for the course with these machines. Also, make sure to use the right oil mix to avoid issues. Overall, for under $200, this is a solid investment for homeowners who want professional-grade results without the bulk of larger models. It's reliable, user-friendly, and has held up well through several uses already. If you're in the market for a versatile grass trimmer, I highly recommend the Husqvarna 122LK. Just grabbed some extra string line to keep it going strong!

Runs poorly and barely cuts weeds
This product is not eligible for return, so buyer beware. The issues I'm having are that out of the box it is hard to start and gets worse after it heats up. Next, once you get it running it bogs when pulling the trigger before it come to full speed. Finally, it it goes back to that low power, bogging type of running once you start cutting slightly heavy weeds. To keep it working you have to take small swipes allowing the motor to speed up between swipes. Since I cannot return it I'm going to have to seek some sort of warranty repair or try to improve how it runs myself. Very disappointed with this purchase.

Definitely worth the money.
Started up and ran great, right out of the box. The strain that come with it is very durable and I will replace it with light kind.

Husgavonia weed eater
I've had no trouble at all starting this but goes through a lot of string ( could be user error) Does a good job.

I like it, I really really do
The fuel tank is just a little small. But it works great.

Dad loves it
Father’s Day purchase. My dad loves it so 5 stars. He says “best wacker I’ve ever had.” I’d buy it again.

Whip it! Whip it good!
Okay, I am a Husqvarna fanboy. Learned to weed-eat with one of these bad-boys, I will die on the hill that these are better products than Stihl, at least when it comes to weedwhackers. This one is fairly lightweight, decent build quality, easy to hold and use. The hand grip is notorious for moving around on most Husqvarna trimmers. You get used to it. Easy to set up. Decently comfortable. ALL of that being said. If you live near a outdoor power equipment dealer that sells these, just go there and get one in person and wait the 30 minutes for them to get it tuned up and good to go. Out of the box, it will only work in certain temperature ranges because the carburetor needs adjusted. I was able to do it myself, but I have plenty of prior experience with these types of tools. Once that was adjusted, it was plenty powerful. But do not be shocked if out the box it sucks. Just need to adjust it. It is genuinely easier to just go to a dealer/shop and pick it up.
