Great product from Sony. If you're looking for a very affordable, good looking speaker - this is the one. The ease of setup is great, just a simple NFC connection with your phone and you're good to go. It has a basic range of functionality, but it's more than enough. The ULT button adds a richer and deeper bass to the music, the speaker sound easily fills a room the size of a classroom for example. Overall a top Sony product.

I wanted something that was simple but robust enough to take a few knocks when I’m working in the garage and this came out top in my research. It’s fair to say that I’m not disappointed. The speaker is waterproof, dustproof, and rustproof with an IP67 rating, which is ideal for the garage environment. It can be used vertically or horizontally, so it has a small footprint, and doesn’t take up much room in the workspace, but I can also hang it by the carrying handle. It paired with my phone, my partner’s phone, and a tablet with no issues at all. To me, the sound is brilliant. I was warned that the bass might not be great, but it has handled all of my special ‘test the speaker out’ tunes and although there could be more bass, what’s is there is more than adequate for the average person, especially if you use the ULT button. I do have the option to add an additional linked speaker in the future if I want to. The battery life is good, too, and I can get at least 2 or 3 evenings out of it before it needs to be charged. All-in-all, a great bit of kit that’s worth the money. Recommended.

Got a good base kick.. looks good and is exactly what I wanted... Loud but not oppressively so for my ears.. Might not be loud enough for some if you want it banging... But for me was well worth the money.. Good clarity and with the bass boost off you can really hear the treble .. I haven't yet tested the durability but it is rated high and the rubber is thick over the ports .. So I imagine it will be quite durable.

Really impressed with the build quality and sound. I have an ULT 7 but wanted something a bit more portable. The sound quality is exceptional with good separation and clarity. Punches above its weight for bass quality. Only negativities I haven’t managed to pair it with the ULT 7 but that’s not too much of an issue. Would completely recommend this exceeds expectations and I’ve found it suitable for small performance venues as packs plenty of Power.

The sound on this is absolutely amazing, as good as any midi hi-fi I've had in the past. I've set it at ULT 2 which gives an impressive punchy bass which I can feel through the floor. It doesn't compromise on other frequencies and vocals are clear. It is quite heavy so I might attached the strap which is included to make transporting it from one room to another. I totally recommend this for anyone who loves their music and appreciates high quality audio output.

As a seventies teenager, obsessed with and totally absorbed in music.. and with whatever hifi setup I could afford to play it through.. I’m a latecomer to this digital world and have always felt that anything less than a trusty hifi separates setup was akin to listening to tinny transistor radios (I know, what are those any more?) Anyway.. fast forward to the second decade of the new millennium and even this dinosaur has to concede that however saddened he might be by just how differently we listen to music these days, the digital age does offer some real benefits.. and this is deffo one of them. Imagine telling my spotty fifteen year old self that one day he would be able to access an entire library of music, and even store the entire contents of his beloved vinyl collection on his very own personal telephone.. and listen to them on a small, portable, rechargeable speaker that would sound far better than any of the used (and invariably ‘blown’) speakers he’d been able to buy off school friends or second hand shops..?! I digress.. this isn’t the cheapest Bluetooth speaker obviously, but value for money for the sound and tone (resonant bass, without sacrificing clarity of higher ranges) I’ve not heard it bettered by anything in the same price range (and working with young people I get to hear a lot of portable speakers) Quality at a fair price..

Como alguien que viaja constantemente por trabajo, entre conferencias, eventos y exposiciones, he probado decenas de altavoces Bluetooth con la esperanza de encontrar uno que verdaderamente se adapte a mis exigencias: calidad de sonido, resistencia, autonomía y portabilidad real. Lo primero que noté al sacarlo de la caja fue su robustez. No es el altavoz más ligero que he tenido (pesa poco más de 1 kg), pero se nota sólido, bien construido, y el acabado transmite confianza. La correa desmontable para el hombro no es solo estética: realmente hace más cómodo el transporte cuando llevo mochila, portátil y equipo de presentación al hombro. Su tamaño es compacto (aproximadamente 24 cm de largo), y cabe sin problema en la mochila junto al portátil. Lo llevé recientemente a una presentación en Madrid y tenía que mostrar un vídeo con sonido ambiental y efectos para ilustrar una experiencia inmersiva. Conecté el altavoz al portátil por Bluetooth (la conexión fue estable y rápida) y activé el modo ULT. El salto de calidad fue inmediato. Los graves cobraron una profundidad que llenó la sala sin necesidad de subir el volumen al máximo, y las voces se mantuvieron claras gracias al equilibrio del tweeter. Este modo ULT no es marketing vacío: el sonido se siente más envolvente y con una presión acústica considerable para su tamaño aunque en mi opinión le falten un punto de agudos. El ecualizador de la app Sony Sound Connect me permitió ajustar los agudos y medios a mi gusto. En una habitación de hotel más pequeña, por ejemplo, suelo bajar un poco los graves para evitar saturaciones, algo que con muchos otros altavoces no puedo hacer sin sacrificar calidad. Por cierto, nada más emparejarlo con su app, me pidió para actualizar su firmware y me sorprendió que incluía una función tipo DJ para meter efectos sonidos durante la reproducción. En cuanto a autonomía, cumple lo prometido y me ha gustado la función de carga rápida (2 horas de música por solo 10 minutos de carga) mediante cable USB-C incluido. Sin duda un gran compañero de eventos, fiestas y viajes!

Enceinte de petite taille mais de grande qualité, avec un son et des basses super puissantes. Pour un prix raisonnable. C'est du pur Sony!
