Devil Is In The Details For Installation
PLEASE READ THE Q&A above AND COPY THAT LINK FOR HOW TO REPLACE THE BELT! There are number of different drive styles. We did not notice that link, could not find a proper one on UTube or other and it was a bit more fun as we had to figure our way through. NOTE: If you do not want to flip the mower over (due to fluids inside) you can access the rear belt cover plate from the top. We did not remove the rear lower unit like they did in the video and only removed blade, U/Omega belt cover at the drive shaft and small plastic cover on the top rear of mower. After disconnecting the drive cable/spring the rear drive shaft unit will pivot forward. You need square tips (not allen or torx) for the 3 bolts.. I used the Dewalt magnetic bit set that has 3 different lengths of square drive and it worked great. You should also have a good torque wrench to remove and reset the blade (60 ft lb / 90 nm per the manual, I believe). Use this opportunity to sharpen the blade on a grinder or with a bench file. I also took the time to remove and grease the wheels, including the rear gears/cogs on the rear wheels, along with a filter and spark plug change. Overall it is a belt and hopefully it will last 6 years like the last one. Length/width is correct and drive worked fine. This was about $30 of service and likely would have been $100 or so or more at a dealership. Note ALL HARDWARE IS SAE/UNIVERSAL, not metric.

Too tight for Toro 20092
It's not equivalent to a Toro OEM belt... not in quality and not in length. The mower will not release from the belt, meaning the rear wheel will be ripping your turf up unless you turn the mower by lifting the rear wheels. And are willing to forget about mowing backwards, which is essential for me.Yes I know how to adjust the tension, and have it at it's loosest, but this belt is too small for the 20092. I knew it as soon as I put it on, but hoped maybe it would slip. Nope. Now what? It's used. Fricking waste of time and money. Go for genuine parts from a Toro source and save yourself a headache or three.Just checked and it's actually branded with Toro and has the correct part number. So it's not the seller's fault... it's Toro's part suppliers. And trust me... I did everything possible to make this fit. Apparently sourcing or speccing belts like these is difficult, because I ordered four belts in the end and only one has worked (another is tight but may loosen). All four were supposed to work with the 20092 ('08 model) but two definitely didn't including this one.FWIW, the belt that fit the best and the only one that seems to allow for a range of adjustment is this one:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07Q3YFKH4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1It's a good belt and fits properly, with plenty of room to tighten when/if it stretches. It was also the cheapest of the bunch. I'd recommend it for the 20092 '08 modelOne last rant – the toro system for propelling their mowers is simply ridiculous... not just for the hit or miss belt function, but for the fact it catches twigs, stones, acorns and what have you that make it inoperable and possibly even melt the belt. I'll look for another brand after this one dies or I kill it out of frustration.

Seems tight but ended up working
This was listed as the replacement belt for my model and seemed to be an OEM product, marked with toro part number. When I first installed it the belt was very tight and would not disengage (drive wheels would not stop spinning. I was going to try a longer belt but it seems to loosen up / work itself into the pulley's. It's still a little tight (wheels don't spin all the time but don't want to roll in reverse). It works OK now and I'm hopping will loosen up a little more with use. A longer belt would probably be too loose.

Fits my mower
It’s exactly the belt I needed to get the self propulsion working again on my Toro mower. Watched a couple different videos on how to install the belt, and while my mower is slightly different than the ones in the videos, I was able to get it to work.

Power drive belt
Replacement belt for power drive to wheels on walk behind Toro mower. Remove two or three covers to replace. One screw was awkward to access. There’s always one…. Now we’ll wait and see if it lasts 10 years like the previous one.
