It's not super cold but it's helpful. It's soft and durable and fits in my zip up pillow case that is a pillow protector.

Very comfortable, I normally have issues with being too hot when sleeping, but this has definitely helped with that. Pop it in the freezer for about an hour, and it'll retain the chill for a decent amount of time.

Husband bought this cooling pad. He said it stayed cold and he liked it, but my 2 year old daughter found it and hid it in the living room. When I discovered it missing I found it with a 1.5 inch rip along the edge and a piece of gel coming out. I don’t know if he did it or she did, but she doesn’t have access to sharp objects so I don’t know how she would’ve ripped it. It’s a shame it ripped after one night of using it.

I have trouble sleeping at night because I just can't get my pill to stay cool. So I end up having to flip my pillow a lot during the night. So I bought this with the expectation of being able to get a good night's sleep. Well when you first lay down with your head on it they're almost too cold but before you know it your head is warmed up the jail and it's no better than the pillow that you had to keep flipping.

Quick refrigeration to its cooling point but the coolness doesn't last long. I don't freeze it but instead put it in the refrigerator because otherwise, it would be way too cold and way too hard on my head and face, basically like laying on one of those frozen rock hard ice packs people put in their lunch bags. The anti-slip backing is nice and soft and does keep the pad from sliding around on the pillow. There's no leaking but that might be due to the fact that I don't heat it or freeze it but instead use the refrigerator to cool it. There could be improvements but it works for me short term since I'm not looking for coolness to last all night or for many hours
