I have read and re-read this book because it had stood head and shoulders above other trading books I have read. This book helped me identify the process of high probability trading. I have now grasped the authors message to the reader that following this strategy gives you an edge over other traders. The edge is using a combination of technical & fundamental indicators following in depth research. Most traders expect to execute alot of trades throughout the year, some follow technicials and some follow fundamentals, this is different, you would be lucky to execute a dozen trades per year but the ones that you do will be highly profitable. Your edge here is patience and research. Most traders would not be able to follow this, they would lose heart.I had to come back and update this review now that I have engaged with Jesse through stocktwits. In my eyes this guy is a shining light in a sea of fraud, lies, and manipulation. If you are considering trading I plead with you to read this book and follow Jesse on Stocktwits before putting any money to work. There are very few people (other than those with an agenda) that will guide and educate you on excelling at this. This book is what convinced me to get started trading. I am learning everyday and Im confident that Jesse IS THE BEST there is.Not only is Jesse a market genius, he gives great advice on life in general and when to step away from trading.If your starting out, read one of the introduction to trading books just to grasp some terminology first. Jesse book is simplified so that with some basic trading knowledge you can grasp the strategy within. My only regret is not finding this book from the day it became available. I read alot of trading books before this and thought i had a grasp on how I was going to make a fortune. Only when I read this I now know that beforehand I KNEW JACK #### I have read it something like 5 times now and will study it forever.Thank you Jesse Stine for all that you do. I had originally recieved an advance review copy from the author. I found this book compulsive reading and unlike any other investment book that I have read. Once the book was finally published I decided that I had to purchase a copy because not only did I want the final draft of the book, I also want to show my appreciation for the author writing this excellent book.Although generally I do not post reviews of many books, that is more down to me not doing so until I find books I feel warrant a good review, however I felt compelled to review this book. I have read various books including O'Neil's but I just found this one different. Throughout the book you can sense the authors strong desire to succeed and to help others achieve the same goal.Jesse's approach is a combination of fundamental and technical analysis to seek out beaten down stocks and to identify the point where their fortunes are Turning, identifying the times when the risk to reward ratio is heavily in your favour.This is not a book for day traders, focusing on the longer term with potentially huge price movements. The book gives many examples of these stocks and details the key rules for entries and exits. Jesse has been honest about his past failures as well as the superstocks that changed his life. His style of writing is easy to follow whilst being rich in information. Overall a must read book.

This is truly the most amazing book I have ever read. The first pages got me hooked and I am constantly re-reading it as there is a lot to take in. I have read many investment books and this in the only one I really connected too. It is really inspiring and gives a more original insight into trading / or the truth. The book written in an easy to read style with a modern way of writing. Often I can drift when reading books (especially some investing books) but this one I just read it from start to finish. You have to go back and re-read to get the best from the book as there is too much valuable information to think you will just 'get it' straight away. The book gives real life examples and also wonderful information on what moves stocks and what to look for in a superstock. It is not for the lazy investor but for the people who have struggled with average results and those who finally want to move to the next level. I think we all know we can do it but are not sure how and after reading this book I now know with some time and effort it will happen. This book makes sense. I hardly ever write reviews. Ok, okay to quick scan

At first look, the title sounds like ebook bait. I was smitten , from the first, few chapters. Stine tells the reader of his own, poignant, darkly comic, misadventures in the Wall Street game. The change in fortunes, when it comes, is gratifying. He also covers other rare subjects: Diet, Exercise, "Mood"music, as well as fundamental + technical analysis. Read, try, review, adapt!

Got the book delivered to Dubai last week and spent the whole week on the beach reading it......now giving it a third read,Having blown up 5 accounts in the past it's nice to know that we all start from this base Already deleted the CNBC and Bloomberg IPad apps from the Ipad and phone and look forward to an ongoing education as an "Investor" and not trying to guess if I should go long or short Apple...... just because I'm bored.Great read and a must for anyone who wants to be successful in trading and life.ThxMark

Great books, it makes sense!

Makes for an interesting read, hope to adopt his style of trading

If you've read other investment classics like HTMMIS, Minervini's works, and Stan Weinstein, you will like this book. "Half story, half textbook" as it is mentioned in the book. It's like a mixed approach from O'Neil, Minervini, and Weinstein's 30W MA. But a little more "aggressive" approach aiming at lower-priced stocks. Worth the space in your investment library.

Probably the best investment book ever written

Llevo dos años invirtiendo en la bolsa y más de 30 libros leídos del tema. En lo personal me quedo con este libro, muy fácil de leer, elautor va directo al grano y es como si un buen amigo te explicara como se hizo millionario inviertiendo.

Good explanation of investing approach. in this book Jesse Stine elaborates key principles of his successful investing career. I recommend this book to all investors and money managers.

.... ma scrivo lostesso la presente perché già i primi 6 capitoli valgono il prezzo. Non il solito libro tecnico sugli investimenti, ma è quello che ho sempre cercato: il racconto della vita da trader di un trader non professionista (o almeno che non lo era.... intendo dire che ha iniziato come potrebbe farlo qualsiasi persona). Linguaggio semplice, comprensibile anche a chi ha una conoscenza media della lingua inglese, racconta tutte le sue esperienze, soprattutto quelle negative. Interessantissimi i sui racconti sulle pedite (anche ingenti) che ha dovuto sopportare prima di avere successo, di come ha superato i blocchi psicologici che si innestano dopo tali "traumi". Il successo in questo tipo di attività passa attraverso le inevitabili perdite che vanno coperte dall'attitudine del trader di successo di far correre i profitti e tagliare le perdite... cosa facile a dirsi, ma difficilissima da applicare nel proprio stile. Include numerosi grafici commentati. Consigliatissimo.
