Good acting and story
Enjoyable take on RPG tropes. Watch it without too many expectations, and you may be pleasantly surprised.

Fantastic film
We had seen the films in order & a small fee allowed us to see them all, suspense throughout a thrilling storyline fantastic filming & locations, you willed the heroes to win, sadly not all the heroes survived, I would advise you to watch them all in order & it's an action film you will not find boring the story is believable even though the place is made upthe film was brilliant, engaging d we loved every minute of it.

Dungeons & Duds
It looks like one of those awful made-for-teens TV fantasy serials you see on a Saturday morning. The special FX are anything but special. You wouldn't be able to pick the cast out of a police line up. Unintentionally funny when it should be serious with risible action sequences and the medieval equivalent of elevator music playing constantly in the background. Going down.

Watchable
Think I've been spoilt with other similar genre movies. An okay film but although there is action etc story a little lame but not a bad watch.

A surprisingly good indie movie with a strong taste of D&D
My rating: 4.5 of 5 starsOkay, this was a surprisingly good fantasy movie, and it's definitely put me in the mood to watch the rest of the series. It certainly does a much better job of capturing the D&D feel than any of those officially licenced D&D movies from a few years ago managed. The story is fairly straightforward, and the characters are individually engaging and fun to watch. The special effects are quite well done, and some of the magic effects are beautiful in their simplicity, especially the cleric's healing powers. There's a brief appearance by Kevin Sorbo at the start of the movie, but otherwise the film is carried remarkably well by the four main cast members. Definitely one I'd recommend if you like classic fantasy adventures.

Disappointed
I thought his looked like a really good film. I watched the hole thing and although the storyline was good, I'm afraid in my opinion the acting was not and was very disappointed.

It's entertaining, just like that weird cousin you have.
Well,I wouldn't go so far as to call it good. But it's not that bad, either. There was some decent acting from the cast. Except from the actress playing Teela. The way she delivered her lines and the way she looked led me to expect a sharp right turn into porn, at any moment.I wish they would have spent more time on the script, though. They tried to hard to reach as many fantasy checkpoints as possible, to the detriment of the story and character development. Honestly, it looks as though they recorded a D&D session and made a movie after it.However, I will give it 4 stars, even though, objectively, it deserves just 3. To be honest, I kinda enjoyed it.
