AWHA Souwester, Rain Hat - waterproof cap with wide brim and earflaps

This hat is perfect just what I was looking for, it keeps me dry and the toggle under the chin stops it flying off in the wind. It has a nice warm lining in the hat and small ear guards which I assume stop the rain getting to your ears but not sure about that really. This is exactly what I wanted as the hoods on coats are so oversized nowadays that they are useless for wet weather. Hope this review helps.

Waterproof and stops the rain from running down the back of my neck. Secure fastening for windy weather too. Very practical if not particularly fashionable...but I know which I'd prefer.

Fits well, love the cozy earflaps which are a godsend for people like myself who get incredibly sore ears if it is windy. Yet to try it out as waiting for heavy rainfall but construction seems solid and expect it to do the job just fine

As I work outside a lot and the weather is getting wet and cold I needed something I could wear and still have free hands this my friends is the perfect hat.I have had do many nice comments saying how much it suits me and where I got it from.The only dissegvantage is that when you are not using the hat and have it resting on the back of your neck the clip adjuster pulls on the front of your throat and you have to keep pulling it down.

Good fit waterproof and flexible folds to fit in pocket

I bought this rain hat when I was on crutches as I wasn't able to use an umbrella. Although I didn't encounter heavy rain, it kept my head dry and warm. The chin straps kept the hat very securely on my head when I was out on a windy day. I can't tell how good it would be as waterproof hat in heavy rain but for normal shower, it works well. I would be definitely wearing this hat in snow too. I'm very satisfied.
