Bought for a storage unit. Comes with two keys, one with a light built in which is handy if it’s a little dark.

Bought to secure my heavy duty bike chain this tough padlock is super strong and will be hard to pick. Pricey. But then good quality always is.

A good weighty lock. You know the minute you hold it that it is solid and well made .

It can be difficult to open

These are great sturdy and solid padlocks BUT I'm now locked out of my garages after both padlocks froze up in only -2 degree temperatures and cannot be opened. The manufacturer has advised me to purchase ABUS's "special" lubricant at £15.99 a shot - do not use WD40 they tell me. So I have to wait for the temperature to rise or wait until the lubricant is delivered. Not great for £100 padlocks.

This thing will slow down the pro bike thieves and stop the wanna-be's .... LOVE IT !

Shackle is thick like your pinkie or ring finger and locked by two large ball bearings. The lock body is a lump of ALL solid steel throughout. The only thing that will open this is the high-tech disc detainer key or a fully charged, large capacity grinder. Reinforce the shackle with 4-5 yellow zinc washers looped on both sides of the shackle and it'll be practically impenetrable.

Also vorab kann ich nur sagen das es ein riesiges Schloß ist welches einen sehr qualitativen Eindruck macht. Ich selber sichere damit einen Lagerraum. Es sind zwei Schlüssel dabei wobei einer ein Led Licht besitzt. Desweiteren können die Schlüssel nur mit der dazugehörigen Schließkarte nach gemacht werden. Zur Wertigkeit bzw. Sicherheit kann ich nichts sagen und hoffe auch das ich es nie herausfinden muss Wie sicher das schloss ist. Aber mit dem 11mm Durchmesser Bügel aus gehärtetem stahl wird ein Bolzenschneider wohl so seine Probleme haben. Hoffe ich zumindestens. Man muß beim einführen des Schlüssels sich nicht wundern wenn der nicht in einem Rutsch bis zum Anschlag in den Zylinder geht. Da es sich um einen Scheibenzylinder handelt müssen diese erst alle übereinander liegen (Der Hinweis steht auch in der Gebrauchsanweisung!). Ich persönlich verdrehe beim rausziehen des Schlüssels die Scheiben immer in jegliche Richtung. Das sollte das das "Picken" zusätzlich erschweren. Alles in allem ein solides und namhaftes schloss.
