This is the most outstanding new invention I’ve purchased ina long time! Having a variety of knives means that various handles/weights hang in different ways interfering with others or just falling out of previous holders I’ve had. Not this One! Every knife fits and you don’t even have to look for a slot. This is just sooooo cool!I imagine this sturdy little box could hold various implements and tools. It is well weighted and the little "holder thingies" can spread farther apart to accommodate many things. I currently have 8 knives in it along with the handy scissor holder.Would also certainly make a great gift!!!

DO NOT BUY this item. It looks fine and works at first, but after use the “flex rods” will not work and break. They will get stiff and it’s hard to put the knives in!

I really wasnt expecting much from this product i just needed it because i bought a knife set and it didnt come with a block. But i ended up liking this way more than a traditional knife block. Its so much easier to clean and holds alot of knifes in any pattern or placement i like! I actually have been thinking of buying another to replace my other traditional block..

I was 5-star level pleased with the product for the first few months but after that "honeymoon" of about three months, I noticed that the plastic rods started to shift and the knives became increasingly difficult to insert. After about 9 months of usage, the rods have shifted / broken / collapsed onto themselves that I can now only insert two knives, from the six that I was first able to insert, and even with the two knives. it requires quite a bit of force to insert deep into the block.I rate the product only 2-stars because I would expect a last more than about 6 months.

Love this! Holds tons of different knives and keeps everything looking clean and sleek. Bought this to replace our old wood block knives holder and love it.

As someone else mentioned, after use the rods break down and you can't push the knives in far enough.

I like the idea of this product. However the outside is scratched up and there is dried running paint on the front. I wanted this to sit on my kitchen counter, but the condition isn't the best. Disappointed.

this was exactly what I was looking for. fits variety of knives, without having to worry about finding the right sized slot to place them in. and the angle makes it easy to see and take out (as they are stored on the counter with cupboards above - I was worried the upright ones would be a hassle). I'm able to fit at least 10 med-larger knives in the top and store my smaller (paring etc) knives in the lower part.From the reviews (and price) I was a little worried about quality - and it may not be the finest knife block it's decent quality and looks nice.

This was amazing at first. It fits every size knife! But now none of our knives push in anymore.

I had an odd assortment of knives that i needed a home for, so when i saw this which I could jam any knives I wanted into, it seemed like the perfect fit for my needs. Got it today, and stuck all my knives into it, and they all fit fine, from 8 inch chef knives down to 3 inch paring knives, and everything in between. I can see how over time the rods that make up the core may bend or break, but it will take some time before I can really speak to that, at the moment they are all fine. I like that the middle insert can be removed for cleaning. The construction is a little rough, one seam has slightly rough edges, but I was after this more for functionality than looks, so I'm not too fussed.
