Works great on my 6200 Troybilt generator, just plugged it in and solved the problem was already set for the right voltage out of Th box.

Did not work.
This AVR did not work on my generator. The volts were way too high and no matter how you turned the brass screw, they stayed way over 300 volts. That will damage anything connected to it. The color of the wires to the plug were different than on the original AVR. I don't know if that makes a difference or not. The original had 2 blue wires and one white and one green wire. In addition, it did not fit properly with one end of it that would not seat in the mounting area.

Good replacement for the price
This is a great replacement of the factory part for a fraction of price. The reason I am giving it less stars is because the first part failed in 2 weeks. Replacement was ordered and has been working for about 2 months now.
