Llama Llama Red Pajama Book Bundle with Large Stuffed Animal Llama 13.5" and Llama Llama Red Pajama Board Book

I have bought most of the Llama Llama board books (great) over the past year and my granddaughter, now 2-1/2, still enjoys them, so I bought the Llama Llama plush for her to hold or keep next to her while we read before bed. She likes to stall at bedtime and I think plush Llama Llama focuses her on bedtime/reading time. It's not her favorite plush toy as she favors colorful, sparkly types, but I think it's a nice addition to her collection of plush "friends." Small negative is that she would like to be able to put his PJs on and off but they're attached. It also is not inexpensive, so if price is an issue you could live without this. But I have one grandchild so I indulge her and don't regret this purchase. I'll likely put plush Llama Llama and her LL books in her "save for future" items.

I have given this book to so many friends in its original form and it never survives the kiddos who love it most. Now that I've found it in a board book it will be my go-to gift. I prefer a beanie Llama for the little ones but it wasn't in stock when I needed it--this one is fine, but not my favorite for a newborn gift.

This is an adorable book and stuffed animal set. The stuffed animal is cute. It's clothes come off but are sort of sewn on in the back and at the arm holding the tiny llama so if you're little one likes to mess with clothes this can be a little annoying. I think I'd rather they were completely sewn on or not at all but not a major problem for us most of the time.
