A beautiful book to look at again and again! Worth every penny and a lovely way to recall heady student days..( and the lectures and practicals 6 days a week...!)

Very cheap but why oh why would you post a heavy hard back book in just a poly bag with no protection from damage?In this particular case the damage is fairly slight but that is pure chance!

two of my children recently graduated from cambridge and i thought this would be an excellent book to keep at home.i have not been disappointed.

I bought this as a gift for a friend of mine who graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge. Although I gave it to them some time ago they still eulogise about this book, and, I believe their fascination with it is genuine rather than a display of good manners. It is a beautifully produced volume rich with illustrations and highly detailed text covering all the University Colleges and their fascinating histories. Although produced for the 800th Anniversary of Cambridge University celebrated in 2009, it will be a book to treasure for years to come. An essential book for anyone with a connection to Cambridge University, and, still a worthwhile purchase with plenty of interest even if you are not so fortunate. Recommended.
