JCLOUD Waterless HVAC Scent Diffuser for Whole House, Dimgray

This diffuser is a great purchase for the price. Very easy to set up and to use and it works especially well when attached to HVAC ductwork. I wanted to mention in case anyone wanted to use this diffuser in conjunction with their HVAC system. You want to attach the tube to the ductwork after the filtered air has gone through your HVAC system, and is being distributed to the rooms in your home. A lot of people mentioned they run their fan 24 hours a day to ensure the scent is distributed at all times. I find setting you HVAC fan to run 30 to 45 minutes Per hour in conjunction with your typical cooling and heating setting is very sufficient to get the scent into every room. Additionally, the app allows you to set the working time or how long the system actually pumps scent. If you take the time to micromanage the timer on the diffuser and your fan on your smart thermostat, you can essentially get it pretty in line with each other so that you don’t have to run your HVAC fan 24 hours a day. Keep in mind, the type of scent you use or the quality of the oil you use will impact how strongly you smell it, and overtime you will get used to the smell and that does not mean it is not working when I have guests come in? They mention how it smells really good in our house.

I received the JCLOUD Smart Scent Air Machine for Christmas, and I had it up and running in five minutes. It was super easy to set up, and the scents really do fill my house nicely. So much nicer than any regular air freshener. It connects to the Aroma-Link app on my iPhone via Bluetooth, and I set it to run for 10 seconds every five minutes only for a few hours in the morning and in the evening. Even in the middle of the day, though, my house still smells amazing. It's so nice to be greeted with a nice scent every time I walk in my front door.

I had high hopes for the JCLOUD Smart Scent Air Machine, but it’s been a complete disappointment. Within just 4 days of using it, the machine clogged and stopped working. I had to clean it extensively to get it running again, only for the same issue to reoccur. Thinking it might be the oil I was using (Vine Vida), I decided to order the recommended JCLOUD brand oil. Unfortunately, this didn’t solve the problem. The machine still clogs just as quickly, making it practically useless. To make matters worse, even the replacement unit they sent had the exact same issue. It’s clear that this is a design flaw, not a one-off defect. For a product marketed as “premium,” this level of maintenance and unreliability is unacceptable. Save your money and look for a more reliable alternative. This product is more trouble than it’s worth.

I am so excited to finally get this. I was looking at a VERY expensive brand and came across Jcloud. After reading reviews, I pulled the trigger. My main concern was my first floor which is 2200 square feet. I love the idea of hooking it up to my HVAC to also get my full finished basement. I think we are maxing out the square footage of this machine, but so far the first floor smells amazing. I haven’t hooked it up to the HVAC yet since it is fall where I live and so it won’t be running and my windows are open. I will be moving it downstairs to hook it up, so stay tuned to see if it works as well as just a stand alone. I am still playing around with how often I am having it go “off”, but right now we are 20 on and 300 off. It’s great for when it’s just us at home, but may make it more frequent when we have guests over. I hope this helps someone else pull the trigger! It is worth it!

I’ll start with the not so good: I have diffuser connected to my down stairs hvac. I have to unscrew the hvac connector that runs through the top of machine into bottle. I can’t just remove the bottle and add oil quickly. It’s tedious and plainly a piss poor design. Should have been designed better in that aspect for the $199 price point. Now with the good: super easy to navigate, set run times, etc.. with the app. Sleek and easy to mount. Very quiet if using as a stand alone. Super efficient with aroma oil. As you are aware that stuff is not cheap. Machine has a 15w motor with pushes adequate enough aroma through my down stairs. If using as a stand alone for 2000+/- sqft w/o vaulted ceilings single story open floor plan with doors open I am confident it would do its job & then some. Currently running JCloud branded Luminous White Dew in it and it smells great. I would coordinate run times with the heat/cold of the day so you are not wasting oil. Want to use while AC and heat is running so to speak. Found running for 45 sec and stop for 275 sec makes my home pleasant and not too strong. App super easy to navigate via bluetooth. If utilizing for HVAC place the tube after the filter, furnace, plenum. Don’t want oil going through filter & furnace. Will be returning due to the fact I have to remove hvac connector every time to get to the oil bottle. Hope this helps!

Not sure why no one is talking about how loud this thing is, it’s in my front room for now and I can hear it clear in the back of my house bottom floor 2000 sq ft. I have been trying to find the app to download and the QR codes that were sent take me to the website. It does work but not sure I can deal with how loud this thing is. JCloud should this thing be loud?

While I didn’t use the JCloud oil, I went with Aroma 360 oil since it was on sale, and it’s been working wonderfully. I’m excited to try JCloud scents in the future as they offer an impressive range. After one week of use, I can confidently say the diffuser is performing exactly as I hoped, and I highly recommend it!

Seller is from China only way to contact is via WhatsApp. My diffuser stopped working after a few months and once I stated that the product did not work I was blocked. Go figure!!! Save your money and don’t buy from this brand Update: So yes they connected back with me via WhatsApp and sent another replacement. Although it is not usual to get a seller in China and speaking to them via this app but hey I needed to get my machine taken care of. To be honest this time I did not connect to HVAC. It’s day 1 and working fine. Let’s see how it goes
