Genuine Tree Peeple Mr. Mapleshade Tree Face

This tree face is very nice and adds a novelty to my back yard. The four pieces are cast concrete and should last many years. I like the marble eyes and the way the sunlight shines on mine. I had to straighten the wires on the back before installation using pliers to make the loops that would hold better on the screws. I used deck screws to hold the pieces of Mr. Mapleshade's face, but don't put them into the tree all the way. It is amazing how fast the tree grows, so leave about 1/4" of screw to hang the face pieces on. After a year or so, you may want to check them again and bring the screw out a little more as the tree grows. If you wait too long, the tree will bind the wire loop and you'll end up breaking the concrete piece to get it off. I get lots of favorable comments.

My first tree face! I like Mr. Mapleshade. My only suggestion would be to perfect the hangers a little bit. In the wind his mouth will sometimes blow and become crooked. I am afraid of the pieces falling and breaking. We put the screws into the tree tightly and at an angle to make them more secure but I think the hangers could be made a little better.

They look better on larger diameter trees. I think they look neat but little on the pricey side. I purchased three. I'm satisfied and recommend them but not for young trees. They need a full grown tree to look good.

Great for a very large tree... As in a huge one. The diameter of ours is only about 8 Inches in diameter. So Mr. Mapleshade is going to my friend's ash tree. He'll be awesome there!

I sell my artwork and Faires and festival over the Western U. S. At one such event I ended up with a tree in the middle of my booth! I used this charming face to make the best of it and had people laughing in delight all day! Sturdily well made I always take it with me now should the same happen again. Highly recommended.

I am pleased with the Tree Peeple. The expression and colour were what I was looking for and they are easy to install
