The unit works fine with my google maps, get to the golf course and punch in the course and the screen goes black and won't work.

Don’t waste your money!
First let me say, I rarely complain about products that I purchase online as I use the standard of “Caveat Emptor” or in English, “Buyer beware”. However I purchased this device based on reviews and YouTube videos. The product, while conceptually sound, really doesn’t work well at all. It will not keep a connection to the phone, I’m a pretty savy tech guy and can usually figure out. Things, but not this device. The price point seems to be at point where it’s just not worth the time and effort to return. It just plan doesn’t work as touted.

A must buy
Was never a person to buy golf technology, but this product is great! Now I know exactly how far from the pin I am on every shot. Because of this I shaved about five shots off of my score card. I would highly recommend giving this product a shot if you would like to improve your golf game.

I'm super happy with this purchase
I'm super happy with this purchase. This GPS unit is tiny and compact and pretty accurate. I took it out the other day to hit a back 9 and I'm pleased with the accuracy. I had trouble connecting it to my bluetooth for a brief moment but once I got it synced it was smooth sailing from there!

Very happy with this purchase
My finacé saw someone using this on the golf course, but forgot the name of it. I saw this online and remembered this was exactly what he was talking about! He had a chance to take it out this week and use it and loves it. Very happy with this purchase!

I don't like it at all
I was so looking forward to getting it.Sadly, I don't like it at all. I don't want to have to pull my phone out to see distance and there is NO volume whatsoever on the device I received.It's worthless to me.

Do not buy.
My mother got this for my son for his birthday and he strongly warns against it. He says the sound doesn’t work very well, it’s just not loud enough. Also, some courses are entered incorrectly on the app, for example, you would have to select hole ten for hole one. Also, it turns off to quickly and the range from where your phone is to where this is, is about 10 yards. Don’t waste your money there are plenty of range finders that cost close to the same as this and work better.
