For bread proofing, these covers are just the right size to fit over my mixing bowls, keeping my dough covered and free from drafts. Love these’. Used for proofing sourdough in or out of the fridge! Keeps moisture in and can cover even the bottom of the banneton!

They are disposable and work for proofing. They are super super thin and shred and tear easily so you must handle with care while opening them up to use. But they will do. I have since found some heavier others as sometimes when I am rushing around, I don't want to go through several before I get to one that I can use. I expected them to be thin as they are disposable one use and definitely won't upset the landfill.

I love these bowl covers. I originally bought them to cover a bowl of bread dough while it was rising and thought I would never use them all up. Wow, I found so many uses for them. When I make cookies the plastic container I store them in gets just full enough the lid won't fit. Out comes one of these covers to fit over the top and keep the cookies fresh until we have eaten enough that the regular lid will fit. Leftover sauces get a cover to go in the fridge. Used covers are great for throwing vegetable scraps in to carry to the trash. And they are perfect for covering a banniton for an over night rise of sourdough bread dough in the fridge.

This has been a game changer for my weekly bread making! I’m no longer wasting a bunch of Saran Wrap. These are reusable for several bakings- and a very reasonable price.
