Not good not worth the money

I still can't get it to work. Even after I downloaded an app that needs root permissions for your phone.I'm calling this a scam.

Translater in phone apt works better...it looks good but needs wifi to work

Seriously, this thing does not work, except if you are looking for a laugh at the translation....save your money!

Very disappointed. The translator is only accurate from English to Spanish around 35% of the time. If it can't perform English to Spanish well, it is doubtful the more unfamiliar languages will translate well. Software downloaded on my cell phone is far better than this device. I am returning.

Received this a week ago for my travel. Read the manual(only in English and Chinese ), took a time to figure out how to use it in a good way. First you need to make sure it has enough power to Operate. Then turn it on and connected it with your phone via Bluetooth (device name is in chinese character, whatever) for it will share your phone's network and set the source/target languages in the related APP on your phone.Now you can start to have an actual two ways conversation with someone or yourself who speaks japanese,french,spanish, russian, chinese and more... I tried order food and take taxi when travel in japan. It amazed me!Some other translation APP on the phone may also help but still not work so convenient when make a quick converstion with other none english speaker. But this tiny thing(kinda like a small voice recorder) is much more portable and easy-to-use with nice Physical Buttons for two ways conversation.Plus it will save your phone's power for killing time!Oh,the best thing is when it translates, the source and target translation text&audio will display on the related APP IN your phone. I find this helpful and interesting that i can listen again or read the text directly when cannot hear clearly one time.I think this is also good for learning more words in other languages and practice pronounciation.But sometimes it is not so smart especially when your speech is too chatty and not speaking words by words. Overall it is good enough as a tool and will help!

I don’t even want to give it one star. Completely scammed. Instructions were in Chinglish and half the time it could not even pick up the most basic English words such as ‘bank’ and ‘ train station’. I am a Japanese speaker and also found the translations it did so to be laughable. Embarrassed and so angry I bought it.
