Faultless application, great fit, super protection
This is a welcome addition to my iPad Pro M4 11 inch but one that I nearly didn't make when I read the various negative reviews. Thankfully, my experience was very different. The fitment could not have been easier once I'd read the enclosed instructions and watched the referenced videos. The result, a bubble and dust free perfect fit with the protector covering most of the screen other than a lip around the edges to accommodate a case. Mine being the Pitaka MagEZ Folio 2 and the ESR Shift Magnetic. The screen does not appear to have a detrimental impact on viewing the Ultra Retina XDR screen, neither does it affect the sensitivity of the screen, especially when using the Apple Pencil Pro.In summary, this is a robust screen protector, which is easy to apply providing you follow the iprovided instructions. The result, a perfect bubble free fit which complements the iPad without sacrificing any of the functionality.

Easy install
Great value for money. Enhances the screen. Strong and durable. Easy to install. I had no bubble trouble. However this will not get rid of the glare on the screen. If you are an Apple Pencil user, this may not be for you.

it claims to be Bubble free, it is Not
The item is exactly as described & a applicator was provided to have a perfect fit during application whichIs most straightforward once U follow the video, but there were Several Bubbles which had to be squeezed out, It simply did Not go as was stated in the Adv & I have applied Various Glass Screens to IPads & phonesOver the years, the Glass seems to be of good qualityI usually use Techgear but give ESR a try due to the Adv & the Applicator to make the application effortless,It didn't work, eventually I managed to get the Bubbles out by using a plastic Bubble squeez.Thnx anyway

Best screen protector
This is not the cheapest by any means but certainly best I have applied to an IPad.The instructions are ok, but couple good ones re instructions on YouTube worth a look. Went on bubble free just follow the instructions. Better still comes with spare screen protector.. I have the M4 pro and image quality not diminished .. This is really good protector and worth it. The fitting kit is great..

Annoyed
Second time purchasing this item for my 13inch IPad Pro. Normally I have no issue with ESR, all my phones and partners phones have used their products in the past with flawless results. This time round no matter what I did or where I tried to apply the product there was always tiny pits of dust sticking to my iPad and the screen protector, even under an extractor fan, but it seems like it’s static that attracting the bits of dust and no mater how many times I try to clear it, by the time the protector has been applied dust had stuck to the inside of the glass 😔

Totally worth the money
The application and alignment tray makes this the easiest screen protector I have ever used, and in my opinion it’s totally worth the money. I was able to fit the screen protector perfectly in just a couple of minutes including the time to clean and prepare the screen. It fits perfectly, plus you get an extra screen protector too so sure you keep the alignment tray. I was so impressed that I bought a paper-feel screen film from the company, to go over the top of this one to give some extra friction when drawing.

Great product and application innovation but complicated, time consuming and planet littering.
After recently buying a new 13” iPad, I needed a screen protector and after reviewing iPad covers I came across the ESR brand which I’d not heard of before. They sounded really good so after putting their cover in my basket I deleted another brands protector and added this one even though it was £4 more. It’s a great glass protector but I must admit when I opened the box I was overwhelmed. I was shocked with the amount of packaging, especially as we are all supposed to be cutting down. I can understand the reason due to the intricate design of applying the protector. ESR don’t do things by halves. And the packaging was far from being irrelevant. Everything was needed. It was well made protective packaging, not some cheap plastic or cheap cardboard. The box is beautiful in itself. 😉 You know you’re going to get a good quality product when you see how far the company has gone just on the packaging. As for their application design, it was very clever. This is where additional plastic came in to play. But I did find it complicated at first. An older person would find it much harder. I’m not one for video instructions and we shouldn't rely on them, we still need to read. But the paper instructions were just too small for me to read, even with a magnifying glass which you shouldn’t need to use. It shouldn’t be that hard. So I had to use the QR code to access the video which I’m definitely not a fan of. After watching it, I got the gist but I had to keep rewinding. Once I knew what I was doing, I took both the film protectors off and applied it with the very unique design. I pressed down the line on the left hand side then the magic happened. It was just like the video. I wondered at first if my action had activated an air suction stage but it hadn’t. It was a bit like Etchasketch or the primitive version of that. I was impressed. But unfortunately it didn’t work out as it should as there were two big bubbles and a couple of smaller ones that didn’t get sucked out. I tried with the soft cloth to push them out but it didn’t work. I was not going to waste the other protector like another user did and try again so I peeled back the film to check and it was still there. Unfortunately once I replaced it I had loads of extra bubbles. I’d not realised at the time these were not inbetween the iPad and protective glass but between the film and the glass. My husband took over in the end to try to remove them. He gave up and we peeled the film back to work on it again. To our surprise the main bubbles had gone and it look perfect. So the reason for the 3 stars is not for the quality of the glass protector but application process and yes, all the packaging and extra plastic even though I can see it was relevant in the application and product presentation and protection. The paper instructions were just too small and feint to read. Nothing should be that hard work. The magic process did not work as expected, which made it a very long process in the end and overall very time consuming and there was so much to get your head around it was complicated. Even though it’s very innovative and once completed I can look back and think yes, it was simple in the end, but hindsight doesn’t exist when you are trying to apply a new invention. My iPad was new out of the box. The screen had not been touched but I still followed the cleaning process so I don’t understand why the magic did not fully work. I would advise that the box came with a plastic scraper like other protectors have, to push out the bubbles, it would be a lot easier. Overall I will say that I’ve had many phones and one previous iPad, with various sticky plastic protectors and glass ones, all of which were a basic protector with a film back and front. I had no problem applying them and any bubbles were pushed out easily with the plastic scraper thing. It took a few minutes to apply. I didn’t need to read the instructions as it was all self explanatory. As much as this is a great product from a great company and someone had worked hard on the application process, I just feel that sometimes you don’t need to reinvent the wheel. There’s always someone trying to do better than someone else because they think they can do better. In this case you can’t. Consumers like things easy, they don’t care about fancy packaging and inventions. They just want a basic product where the application process has worked perfectly well for over 25 years. Think about the environmental implications when you are designing too. Is all that worth it to be the company with a great innovation, that actually is not perfect.

Screen saver fool proof
Very easy to install I’ve never been able to install a screen saver myself without bubbles but this is fool proof and very good quality you won’t be disappointed
