Millie Gray is an amazing Author and story teller, I am fascinated with her gift to just drawn you in to the Characters world. I have read all her books. I especially like her books because I was brought up in Edinburgh,Scotland my Farther was born in Leith, so I can relate to the People and the streets she is describing. Easy to read but a lot of family members to remember. Some of the story lines were very predictable and wouldn't take place in the real world. Read on the tram to and from work to pass time!

This is a really excellent family story with good descriptive passages of Edinburgh. It is very true to life and often amusing.

Another great story from Millie Gray. Shows how with determination it is possible to succeed. Wish there were more books from the author

I enjoyed this book it was a good story, sad in places but turned out well in the end. It also had a very good ending to the story.
