It's a knockoff, but it works.
Not genuine Sony remote. Does not come in an original box (like it fell off a truck and someone mailed it to you). The biggest drawback is that it is not backlit, like the genuine Sony remote. Otherwise, it works.

Don’t waste your money
Remote is garbage. Don't bother. Buttons are difficult to press. Response time to TV is far too long. Went back to using my broken original remote as it still works better than this one. Don’t waste your money.
