It works good but...
ok - so the good news is that the ethernet port and USB ports work fine - but the USB-C port does not work with my 2018 MacBook Pro - however - i had a separate USB-C attachment that did work with my mac - so I daisy chained this one into it. I will attach a picture later. this is my primary access: https://shop.mashable.com/sales/homespot-usb-c-hub-w-hdmi-for-macbook-pro . - works great but was lacking ethernet port - daisy chaining works well most of the time but i have to plug lightning cable directly into the home spot - iTunes does not work well with daisy chaining the phone link

Performs great!
I have another brand (more expensive) USB-C to Gigabit Ethernet adapter, and this model is functionally identical. (Even size / shape / weight is almost the same)Installation was simple. Plug in the network adapter into a USB-C port on my High Sierra MacBook Pro, and that was it. The adapter instantly showed up in Networks as a 10/100/1000 adapter, and pulled a DHCP address from my server. Transfer rates for files hit the limit on the switch port (~112mb/sec) which is to be expected with an SSD on each end of the file copy. This is a great value for money if you are in need of a network adapter for a PC with USB-C ports!

Does the job.
Can't complain at all as it does what I need it to. With today's laptops coming with just a couple USB-C ports, I needed this to hook up my wireless mouse as well as Ethernet where I have a terrible signal at the office. Also have a couple USB drives for back-ups that I connect when needed. Small and travels nice.

Not as described
The description says gigabit ethernet, and so does the box it comes in. The actual device says fast ethernet, which is how it performs. It gives me an ethernet connection, but not at the advertised speed, which is important to me because I measure network performance quite often with my job.

Works great
I'm using it with a 2017 Macbook Pro. I have had no problems with it. I works great every time.I'm using it like minidock as I have both the ethernet and USB (keyboad, mouse) plugged in.
