These are some of the best microfiber cloths that are rather large, but they do work and I recommend using them over any other microfiber cloth to clean your optic on your gun. The cleaning that it provides is very good. The cloth is lint free. It’s easy to use. The thickness is great. And that’s about it. It’s pretty much the perfect optic microfiber cloth.

I purchased the Otis Technology Microfiber Gun Cloth 3 Pack for maintaining my firearms, and these cloths have been outstanding. They are an essential part of my gun care routine, offering excellent quality and effectiveness. Each cloth in the pack is made from high-quality microfiber material. This material is perfect for cleaning guns as it's soft enough not to scratch the metal surfaces, yet effective in removing residue, fingerprints, and oil. I was very doubtful about purchasing these Otis Technology Microfiber Gun Cleaning Cloths when I first saw them. I was very familiar with the company but after 50 years of cleaning and maintaining my firearms I was, you could say, born with the old cotton gun clothes, and to set in my ways to use anything else. Microfiber to me wasn’t very absorbent and just seemed to smear around the moisture and dirt instead of cleaning it up. Well, in this case that is most certainly not true. I was dedicated to the old cotton “Outer’s” silicone gun and reel cleaning cloths decades back, and then Hoppe’s No. 9 silicone gun and reel clothes and really liked them. I have also used Otis Technology’s gun cleaning products since they introduced them and have found their products to be far superior over all the other products I’ve used. As far as the overall performance of these two cloths I feel that these Otis microfiber cloths outperform the old cotton gun cloths. They clean up dirt and grime like a magnet, and are extremely soft and more resilient, and are great for using on optics. To me they are the perfect size for cleaning any rifle or pistol, I sure wouldn’t need anything larger. The silicone cotton gun cloths became so inconsistent with the impregnated silicone oil, some cloths were nearly soaked with it, and after you got done wiping your gun down your hands was covered with it. You really don’t need that much lubrication to maintain a firearm. Then there is the issue with the lint, and that issue increases with the longevity of the cotton cloth. I want to address the negative comments issue of these Otis Technology microfiber gun cleaning cloths being made in China. First off, I am not employed by any of these companies, and all of the following information are facts that I have obtained, along with my own opinions. The vast majorities (nearly all) of Otis Technology’s gun cleaning products are, and always have been, manufactured in the United States at their Northern New York facility. The big red, white and blue emblem “USA Made” logo “#Americas gun care” and “We Believe Every Firearm Should Shoot Like New. Whenever Wherever Forever” that the Amazon.com buyers see, is utilized across all of Otis Technology’s listings, and is meant as more of a generic company statement, like a mascot for the company. This specific microfiber material that is used in their cleaning cloths does not have a domestic source, when the company does not have the capability to manufacture this material it has no choice but to import this item. Otis Technology has stated on the backend of Amazon (which is the part of Amazon where sellers can login and enter information about the products they sell) that the country of origin is China, but it is not showing on the Amazon listing for the customers to see. Now this is nothing really new, mistakes in descriptions have been made many times before on Amazon. One thing to know is Otis Technology has been making state-of- the-art gun cleaning products for nearly forty years. Their “Elite” line of kits has been picked by firearm professionals as the best gun cleaning kits of 2024. Their products are used not just by the gun enthusiasts, but law enforcement agencies, and military personnel all over the world.

Pros - A good cloth for a quick weapon or optics wipe down. They are similar to the texture of felt and have an overlocked hem/edge. Unlike most household microfiber cloths these have the same smooth, soft, texture on both sides. They should be good for cleaning just about anything, but I would keep the overlocking off of fragile lenses. Cons - What I don't like is the misleading product description. Let me be perfectly clear here, if a company chooses to have their products manufactured overseas, that's fine, but be honest with your customers about it. Case in point... Amazon/Otis, the product description contains a great big "USA Made" image, but the packaging clearly states otherwise, please correct this.

I've been using these Micro Fiber Gun Cloths for about a year now. Excellent product, comes in very handy removing oil from the surface of your gun. Excellent value.

Love these gun cloths. They work great and they are reusable. Just make sure to only wash them with other rags and work towels.

Great cloths, soft and effectiv. They work really well and leave no lint behind. Big enough to clean the outside of both barrels of an O/U shotgun. Being a 3 pack I keep one in my cleaning kit and the others in my range bag.
