Okay, if you go into this knowing you need to repack it in something else, you'll be fine. This is really the best beach blanket I have found so far, but let's face it: it's impossible to fold it up at the beach for everything to fit in that attached pouch it comes in.Sand did not stick to this at all, even though my daughter was wet and covered in sand.The material is so soft and thin, yet the hot sand wasn't a bother with this over it. I didn't feel too hot, even on a dark sand beach.The pegs function fine to keep this attached to the ground, but since it is like parachute material, I definitely recommend also putting something heavy on it, like your beach bag, to hold it in place just in case.I think if the attached pouch were a bit larger, this would be perfect.

This mat is a very convenient and it’s perfect for the beach or park. It comes with little plastic stakes to keep secure on the ground. You can quickly lay it down and put away Which is a must have when you have kids around. Definitely recommend.

this was a nice large blanket, it does repel sand nicely. One of the loops for the stakes ripped on 2nd use. Beaches tend to be windy so better stiching there may help. Also, it does stain easily.

This comes in a stuff sack about as big as my hand! I couldn't imagine what I'd ordered as it shipped in it's manufacturer's packaging with a shipping label slapped on it. I love that it's got anchors to hold down the corners. It's is 100% correct. There's no way sand will get into the weave of this mat. The fabric is so smooth and it's easy to pick it out on the shore from a distance! It's plenty big enough for a family to spread out on. In my case it's me and my dogs that will get a lot of use out of it. It's very well made. This is going to get a lot of use from lake to putting down in the back of car for the wet dogs. This is awesome. The nylon fabric is a tight weave. Measurements are spot on. The bag strings are plenty long to loop onto the mat to keep it together. Great price for the quality and I know my sisters will be asking for the link. Might get a second one to stash in the camper!

I love how compact this beach mat is! The mat itself is large but is very lightweight and fits into a small bag. It a little tough to get back into the bag but if you fold and roll it right, it goes back in fairly well without much of a struggle. The pegs it comes with will be nice for windy days and the material feels nice. I haven’t gotten to use it on a sandy beach yet but I don't expect to have any issues. This will be perfect to fit in a carry on and in a beach bag. The color is also true to the pictures!

I keep this in the trunk of my car as it is very compact and in a portable pouch. This is a great size, and could be used as a beach blanket, picnic blanket, or for any outdoor activity. It is durable and is easily put back in the pouch.
