Nokia Mobile Phone 235 4G (2.4", 128 MB) Black

This phone was exactly what we needed, however 2 things to mention for UK based shoppers given this is sourced from the EU: 1) USB-C power supply is 2 pin EU standard plug; 2) the T9 predictive text feature does not have English as a supported language.

Looks and feels very cheap, poor quality material, not really what you get from a genuine Nokia, it broke after only 2 days of use, wouldn’t connect to the network or read the SIM card. The plastic was coming off and the lights would only partially light up on the keyboard. Extremely disappointed. Fast delivery though.

So bought this as a work phone and plan was to possibly come over to as my personal phone sole phone. But was bitterly disappointed with it, it just does not feel as good as these phones used to, the build is atrocious it lacks any sturdiness you can literally bend the thing in half with no effort and it's just not durable it scratches up easily and in my line of work won't last 5 minutes, the battery is weak on it as well I just wanted a durable long battery life phone for work that I can just chuck in van and be done with. It's vastly overpriced for what it is. This is not the phone for me.

A simple retro feel feature phone which has the basic functions of a phone for those looking for a smart phone alternative. For us, this was a good option for our 12 year old who needed a way to communicate with us now she has a bit more independence at high school, but without all the issues that go with giving children access to social media and multi messaging apps. It’s also a good value option for a phone as it’s fairly budget friendly. The phone itself is what you’d expect from a Nokia - compact, robust and lightweight. It’s actually a really good size for a pocket and the colour choice is modern. Features: - phone and sms messaging - mp3 player (needed an SD card to facilitate this effectively) -2MP camera: totally acceptable for basic photos for a 12 year old - snake game (so much fun!) - alarms, timers, calendar and other basic features - internet access via 4G (no Wi-Fi capability) but it’s not really designed for web browsing - Bluetooth compatible Points to note: - old school texting required (3 letters per number key) but use of predictive text function makes this fairly easy to use after a few tries. My daughter quickly picked it up fine. - comes with a European plug. Not a biggie as it’s a USB -C connector so universally found in most homes these days. - instructions in Hungarian (?). Again, not a biggie as readily available in English via quick internet search - some game apps require a purchase but annoyingly cannot he deleted (why??) but can be moved so we just moved them off the Home Screen and advised our daughter to not use them. Would be better if you could hide these though so it is one niggle I have. Overall this is a good option for a first phone for what we want for our 12 year old. There is a gap in the market for good teenage focused non smart phones but this works with a few minor niggles. She can contact us and friends easily, but is not being given access to lots of social media and applications that we want to keep her from. It functions well for a basic phone and the mp3 player lifts this for my daughter who enjoys listening to music on it. It’s also a much cheaper option as the monthly sim deal we got was only a few pounds due to not requiring lots of data for the phone. Setup with the SIM was super simple and the SD card was easy enough to insert too to add more memory. It also holds it charge well too though the mp3 player does reduce time between charges if used a lot. Still significantly better battery life than my smart phone though! All in all not a bad basic phone option

No UK charger delivered. For that price i would at least expect a charger.

for a feature phone its great, a quarter of the weight of my normal phone, it fits in my pocket, I don't have to update the apps all the time, and it works, voice and texts are enough.

Beim auspacken kommt einem das Nostalgische Gefühl der 90er Jahre entgegen. Ich war lange auf der Suche nach einem 4G Telefon, ohne Social Media/ WhatsApp und hatte einige Handys ausprobiert. Dieses Handy hat jedoch meine Erwartungen mehr als Erfüllt und ist seitdem mein täglicher Begleiter. Durch sein kompaktes Design passt es wirklich in jede Hosen oder Jackentasche, durch die abgerundeten Ecken liegt das Nokia perfekt in der Hand und auch bei längeren Telefonaten stört es durch das geringe Gewicht keines Wegs. Sobald man das Telefon einschaltet und sich komplett ruckelfrei durch das Menü klickt bemerkt man die einfache Handhabung der Menü Führung von Nokia, es ist sehr Übersichtlich und in den meisten Fällen selbst erklärend ohne eine Anleitung. Zu meiner Überraschung ist die verbaute Kamera nicht so schlecht wie ich erwartet habe, sie schießt keine Fotos wie mit einem Highend Smartphone, jedoch hat diese Kamera einen Vintage Touch. Und sind wir mal ehrlich, die Fotos von früher sahen einfach besser aus als die heutigen, auch wenn sie nicht gestochen scharf waren. Anrufe und SMS funktionieren einwandfrei, hatte bisher im Wald, in der Stadt oder auf dem Land immer vollen Zugang zum Netz. Und die Sprachqualität ist einwandfrei! Alles in einem, wer auf der Suche nach einem digitalen Detox ist oder einem einfachen Zweittelefon, der wird mit dem Nokia 235 mehr als Glücklich sein. Ganz klare Kaufempfehlung!

Este Nokia es un móvil de los de antes: sin WhatsApp, sin internet y sin aplicaciones que te distraigan. Justo lo que buscaba para desconectar y centrarme en lo importante. La batería dura prácticamente una semana con uso normal y la cobertura es excelente. Si quieres un teléfono simple, fiable y que cumpla su función de llamar y enviar SMS sin distracciones, este móvil es ideal.

Let's say if you want to check your received or dialled calls from last day; you go in the call section and click on received calls or dialled calls section, right? except Nokia had the good idea of merging those toegether; thus you'll have to sift through every call from yesterday , whether received or dialed.What a good idea from Nokia! Let's say you want to change the music tune of your incoming calls; you go and chose the right one, but no chance, every incoming call gets then muted without explanation...... Your battery is charging;in order to turn on the phone, you'll have to wait it's fully charged before turning it on ! Remember people; this isn't a cheap phone from some obscure chinese brand; it's a plus 40 dollars phone from Nokia ! It's as if they intentionnaly sabotaged their own phone!That's the last Nokia phone i'll ever be buying in my life !

Choisi specifiquement car pas d'appareil photo (interdit au collège) mais fonctionne en 4G (réseaux 3G vont être coupés progressivement sur 2026) ce qui n'était pas le cas des autres téléphone sans appareil photo Il y a une petite led qui peut faire office de lampe torche Possibilité de bloquer internet via un code parental Port USB c pour recharger Bref si vous avez besoin d'un téléphone juste pour téléphoner en cas d'urgence c'est plus que suffisant
