Let me start by saying that these earbuds sounded amazing, but none of the silicone tips that were included fit my ears. I apparently have odd ears, because my right ear usually takes the largest size and my left ear is medium. I'm an earphone enthusiast so I have a huge bag filled with silicone tips to choose from. I tried many different tips until I got a perfect fit. The Denon app is ESSENTIAL to getting good sound from these earbuds! Out of the box they sounded flat and lifeless, but once I ran the EQ personalization program they came alive. My understanding is that these earbuds have 11mm drivers, which makes reproducing bass notes child's play for these puppies. The highs were realistic without seeming brassy, and the mids were lifelike and non-fatiguing. For any audiophile with normal ears, I would recommend trying these out. Five stars, all day long. Notable features include in-ear detection and assignable touch controls, which allow the earbuds to pause your music if you pull either (or both) earbuds out. I often listen to one earbud at a time when I listen to audio books, so this feature is nice to have. Also, you can program BOTH earbuds to pause / next track / previous track, so no matter which earbud you're listening to , the functionality stays the same. This is not always the case with earbuds, so I'm thankful for this flexibility. That said, I returned mine within Amazon's generous return window because I couldn't get them to stay in my ears. I do most everything while using my earbuds, and that includes eating. The motion of my jaw was enough to unseat the earbuds and let them drop out of my ears. I'm a 'set and forget' kind of guy, so I did not like having to continually fiddle with the earbuds to get them to stay seated in my ear. In the end, It doesn't matter how great they sound if they keep falling out. Still, five stars because they sound fantastic as long as you don't move around as much as I do.

I am officially in a 'complicated relationship' with these PerL earbuds. The sound quality is genuinely elite—rich, crisp, and better than anything else I’ve tried. I want to wear them all day, but my ears have other plans! As someone with smaller ear canals, even the tiniest covers provided don't quite do the trick. I get about an hour of musical bliss before the 'small ear struggle' kicks in. If you have average-sized ears, buy these immediately. If you're like me and on the petite side, just be prepared for a short (but beautiful) listening session!

Looked at a lot of different options before deciding on the Denon Perls and I'll admit the price certainty played a part in my final decision. I'm very happy with my choice though. These are really amazing for the price. They have great sound, including a mode that sets up a customized sound profile based on testing your ears. It really does a great job. You'll find all the features and modes that you would expect. My only complaint is that the battery life is less than I had expected. Not less than the competition, but less than I had understood it to be from the listing. That aside I highly recommend these if you are in the market. These are an excellent choice.

I was hopeful for a good earbud but this Denon set would not stay in my ears no matter what I did. I used the correct ear canal size but the weird configuration of the earbud would not allow it to seat fully. No matter what I did it would not seat and stay. The slightest movement made them fall out. I was very disappointed. Perhaps there are some ears these can work on but I have my doubts. I think the product is just not correctly designed as my ears are quite average. Sadly they are going back. They did connect on bluetooth, the Denon app does work on Android.

Worth the money. I use earbuds all the time at work, and I've tried several budget friendly earbuds. For a bit more cost you'll receive so much more quality sound. The personal hearing mapping makes a huge difference. Add the immersion function and the sound becomes so round and warm. The highest volume of my previous EarFun earbuds is like the low medium of these Denon PerL earbuds. I also enjoy the auto pause feature when either bud is removed and auto restart when reinserted. The noise cancelling feature is a solid 8 out of 10 when compared to Bose. My next purchase will be the Denon PerL Pros. Very satisfied with this product.

Rave reviews are for the $300 Denon PerL Pro, NOT the $100 PerL. Read each review carefully to see which unit is being referenced. I bought the $100 version. Only the left earbud would pair, and sound on that one (the female pairing voice) was pathetic, tinny. Consumer Reports website likes the $100 version -- but their detailed review appears to be of the $300 Pro! Strange.

Well made very functional, clear audio, battery life is great. I drive around doing field IT support there also quality but not stupid expensive, so I need a pair of these on the daily.

Sound quality is good. The fit is fine and this comes with multiple different sized ear bud squishy thingy's. Pairing was easy enough though because I didn't know how to pair them i followed the instructions to download the app. The app is alright though it's kind of annoying as it requires you to create an account. God knows why they need all my info in order for me to adjust the settings. Something that I absolutely hate about these is the voice prompts: "Welcome Back" when you put them in. "Bluetooth Connected" yada yada. You can't turn these voice prompts off, you can just change the volume of them from "Louder than necessary", to "why are you yelling at me" and then "miss, this is a library will you please keep your voice down?". The final thing that is awful to me about these is that the plastic housing seems hollow enough that when you use the tap feature to play/pause ect, the earbuds act like a percussion instrument directly on your ear drums. Very loud and obnoxious.

Très satisfait de ces écouteurs. Ne surtout pas oublier d'installer l'application pour les calibrer à votre oreille sinon le son n'est vraiment pas terrible une fois que c'est fait les réglages sont enregistrés dans les écouteurs donc même sur un ordinateur vous les conservez. Bonne qualité de son et bonne réduction de produit ne pas hésitez à tester tous les embouts pour tester ce qui correspondent le mieux à votre écoute car la réduction de bruit n'est pas la même avec tous les embouts. Il faut refaire une calibration après chaque changement d'embout. L'autonomie dépasse largement les 7 heures non stop sans les remettre dans le boîtier avec le son à 3/4 + réduction de bruit.

No funcionan bien. Se desconectan a cada rato. Te mueves y se desconectan. Si estás a 3 metros de la TV se desconectan. En general muy desilusionado

Hay dinamismo en audio. Otra experiencia para escuchar las mismas canciones. Vale la pena la inversión.

Bought the perl(Not the perlpro )which is cheaper since i have ipod 2 and jabra elite 85t and i reccomend the”perl”for music lovers with mild hearing loss

Six stars please. I have owned 50+ sets of headphones and this one is by far the best. The sound is crisp, the bass is way better than any of the more expensive brands . I don’t think there is anything that comes close to the sound quality or this headphones.
