Hamilco White 80lb Cover Heavy 8.5x11 Cardstock for Invitations (50PK)

I recently had the pleasure of using Hamilco White Cardstock Thick Paper and I must say, it exceeded all of my expectations. As someone who is very particular about the quality of my paper products, I was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional quality of this cardstock. The heavy weight 80 lb cover card stock is perfect for my crafting needs, and the 8 1/2 x 11" size is just right for all of my projects. The paper is thick and sturdy, which makes it ideal for printing, cutting, and crafting. I used this paper to make invitations for my daughter's birthday party and the results were simply stunning. I make greeting cards for all occasions and this cardstock is perfect foR my needs. The “white” paper is a brilliant white. I can print colored photos and make creative designs. The cardstock folds are precise making the card look professionally made. But, you need to be cautious of the amount of ink used when stamping cards, the ink does NOT bleed but can be seen on the other side of the paper. The recipients of my cards have given me added praise and admiration for my cards since I started using Hamilco cardstock.

This is really nice paper. I've never used 80 lb paper before, and this is really nice. I'm using it to print out pages for my stamp album, and it works wonderfully. The images are nice and crisp, and the ink doesn't smear at all. I'm sure there are many art and craft uses for this paper. I will definitely keep it in stock. I've purchased a dozen boxes of 50 pages so far.

Good quality, thickness is okay, it was affordable and worked for what I needed it to work for.

I was looking for something to make my son's birthday party invites, this fit the bill, they feed into my HP printer with no problem and the print comes out great, I am using them at work also to make signs, once printed I run it through a laminator and it makes a very nice heavy sign. Will buy again for sure

This is a good quality cardstock if you are using only flat sheets. However, when folded, the paper cracks and frays at the seam. I've tried scoring it and using a bone folder to crease it. Sadly, there isn't anything that improves flexibility. It just tears and shreds. So, from my experience, I would caution anyone making greeting cards that this particular 80 lb. printer friendly paper may not be the best choice for your crafting project. I will use it for cutting layered card fronts and interior messages.

This cardstock is quite heavy, and yet it picks up ink very well, and processes through my desktop printer smoothly. Having this high quality, clean and heavy paper helps me to create meaningful documents with ease.

I think it’s safe to say that the people responsible for listing cardstock on Amazon are not paper experts. I’ve repeatedly received cardstock that did not match the weight rating in the listing. This is not necessarily because the lister is a dummy, it’s because the standard system for weighing paper is absurdly complex. I’m a smart person and graphic designer and it’s taken me years to figure it out. Weight depends on what KIND of paper is being weighed and is different for each of numerous kinds. So 100 lb Index is not the same weight as 100 lb Cover. Further confusing the situation is that, if you Google “paper weights”, multiple graphics will come up (some from the paper companies themselves) that are INCORRECT. I will spare you the full explanation, but to say, this is the second time I’ve ordered a Hamilco paper and received the correct weigh, as listed. Bravo Hamilco! You are a needle in a haystack and I’m so pleased to have found you!

I was sent the wrong paper - it was card stock, but it was A4 size which is larger. It was also glossy, which was not in the description and I needed plain matte paper. It did not come in secure packaging as stated in the description either. I received a bundle of loose paper in cling wrap! I can’t return it because it would cost me money, so I will not buy from this seller again.
