Great little shredder and convenient
These little graters pack a punch. They are easy to store right in my utensil drawer. The grater comes out and rests in the top part to catch cheese, carrots, cucumbers, lettuce, whatever and then you have little slots they go back into the base and the top clicks back on and you can put it away. I find myself using these significantly more than either my handheld grater which requires a bowl or my kitchenaid grater attachment (lots of extra steps for this so it ends up not being used unless I have a large quantity of food to grate). If I want to grate cheese I whip it out. I have committed to not buying pre shredded cheese because of the extra stuff they put on it to keep it from sticking together and this little device has made that commitment much easier. Actually cheese blocks are seemingly less expensive than pre-shredded, require less packaging (better for environment) and tastes significantly better. I also love to shredded carrots and purple cabbage in my salads and sliced cucumbers. I was afraid to use a mandolin for a while because I cut my hand horribly on one many years ago but these attachments are east to swap out (no touching blades) and there is a little grip for the veggies so you are really not at risk for that if you are careful. I also store the mandolin attachment in its plastic bag mostly out of paranoia but hey you probably would too if you saw a piece of your thumb on the counter one time. Overall a great item and it gives me confidence in oxo products

Love it!
The OXO Good Grips Spiralize Grate & Slice Set in its vibrant multi-color design is an absolute kitchen game-changer! This versatile set has taken meal preparation to a whole new level, and I couldn't be more impressed. The first thing that struck me was the exceptional build quality. OXO is known for its durable and reliable products, and this set is no exception. The blades are razor-sharp and easily slice through a variety of fruits and vegetables with minimal effort. Spiralizing zucchinis into perfect zoodles or creating uniform veggie slices for a salad has never been this effortless. The "Good Grips" feature lives up to its name – the comfortable and non-slip handles ensure that even when you're tackling a mountain of meal prep, your hands won't tire or slip. The set also comes with a convenient container that neatly collects your sliced or spiraled produce, keeping your kitchen counter clean and organized. What sets this set apart is its multi-color design. Not only does it look fantastic, but it also serves a functional purpose. Each color corresponds to a specific attachment, making it a breeze to select the right blade for the task at hand. No more fumbling around trying to figure out which blade to use! The variety of blades included makes this set incredibly versatile. Whether you're in the mood for spiralized veggies, finely grated cheese, or perfectly sliced cucumbers, this set has you covered. It's a true all-in-one solution for anyone looking to add more variety and creativity to their cooking. Cleaning up is a breeze, too. The blades are removable and dishwasher-safe, making post-meal cleanup a quick and painless process. OXO's attention to detail even extends to storage, as the blades can be stored safely within the container to prevent accidents. In conclusion, the OXO Good Grips Spiralize Grate & Slice Set has truly transformed my kitchen experience. Its exceptional quality, ergonomic design, and rainbow of colors make it not only a joy to use but a standout addition to any kitchen. If you're looking to elevate your culinary creations and simplify your food prep, this set is a must-have. It's more than just a kitchen tool; it's a kitchen revolution!

Best grater set EVER.
Well, it's finally happened. I've reached the point in life where I've fallen head over heels in love with a kitchen tool. Before you shake your head sadly and scroll on by, lamenting the loss of another middle-aged woman to the trappings of domesticity, allow me to reassure you that my passion is well founded. This is a sturdy, excellent tool that far exceeded my expectations in this grasping modern age of cheap construct for a quick buck. The plastic is smooth and sturdy and thick, not flimsy in any way. The little rubber feet on the container part of the kit actually do work to keep sliding to a minimum. The easily inserted/removed grating plates stay put but pop right out with almost no pressure. They are sharp and make clean cuts. The grated material actually stays in the container. This thing is a bloody miracle. It really works. I've had a few different sets that come with a container, but they cracked or grew brittle with use. Oxo products dont do that. I balked for a very long time at a $30 price tag on a grating set, but when I discovered that I had some unexpected cash back on a credit card, I applied it towards this set and it wound up only costing me five bucks out of pocket, so I went for it. It's totally worth the 30 bucks, people. If you cook and you rely on really good tools you can use and clean easily over and over again, Oxo does not disappoint. Theyre routinely at the highest price point, but their stuff is buy-once, last-forever quality, so you really can't blame them. You have to pay for stuff that lasts for 20 years, right? Great purchase, and I do not regret it. Highly recommended. And now I'll never need another grating set!

This compact little grater set has pretty much everything you might need and fits into tight spaces. You can either hold the blades or insert into the container. The blades are VERY SHARP so keep away from kids. I'm very glad I bought this - it's an excellent addition to my kitchen tools. I can't say the same for the Joseph Joseph and Kyocera branded grater and mandolin I purchased previously.

I’m not a prolific reviewer. I only tend to review things when I really think they deserve recognition. Well, this is one of those rare occasions. I bought this grater/slicer almost a year ago, and since then it has had plenty of use. Almost daily use in fact. At first, I was a bit hesitant to spend more than £20 on a cheese grater come vegetable slicer. But it has paid for itself multiple times over in time saved. Every blade is useful. The fine grater (yellow blade) is ideal for cheeses like Parmesan, and the coarser grating attachment (orange blade) mostly gets used for cheddar. The green blade produces really good Julienne carrot for a salad or a stir fry. But my most used blade has to be the red. One of my favourite side dishes to make is a Potato Dauphinois, and this blade is absolutely perfect for that. Don’t be misled by the picture of the sliced cucumber above - it slices much thinner than that, more like 1mm slices. I’ve actually got a mandoline on which you can adjust the thickness of the slices, and I much prefer the potato slices that this thing produces! They’re far more uniform, each one the same thickness the entire length, and the blade is so incredibly sharp that you’ll be amazed how little force is required for each pass. I don’t use the guard (I’m a daredevil like that!) but I’ve never managed to cut myself. I’ve got a useful tip for you - when you peel your potato, don’t peel the end you’re going to hold, leave the skin on. That way, when you get down to the last 1cm, you’ve still got enough to hold on to. Just throw away the last bit, you haven’t wasted much more than you would have peeled anyway, and you’ve still got your fingertips intact! And if you want to know a really good Potato Dauphinois recipe, just do an Internet search for Michel Roux Jr’s method. You only use a tiny amount of garlic, just rub inside the baking dish all around with a small clove, it provides just the right amount of garlic flavour without being overpowering. You could add a sprinkling of Gruiere or Comte on the top if you really want to push the boat out, but it honestly doesn’t need it, the recipe is rich enough and utterly delicious as it is. I’m so pleased with this Oxo gadget, it’s easy to wash (just mind the sharp blades when you do) and it all packs away so neatly for storage. I’d like to meet the person who designed this and shake them by the hand, it’s utterly brilliant!
