A thin rock section of Piemontite was viewed by polarised light microscopy, This is a metamorphic ore rock formed by the action of manganese rich fluids at high temperature and pressure on existing rocks. From St Marcel, Italy. Interesting and unusual science earrings ideal for anyone interested in science and the natural world. Earrings are printed onto one side of 0.5mm thick Aluminium (reverse side plain Aluminium finish) to give a lightweight and durable glossy and scratch resistant earring. Aluminium discs measure 16mm in diameter and are mounted on silver plated earring wires. Total length from top of earwire to bottom of disc 32mm.
