As advertised. Net is great and scoops up all the small fine size bugs. Aluminum pole is not the strongest but works well for smaller pools.

this thing is the biggest piece of crap i’ve ever bought. do not waste your money. it’s very cheaply made and the parts don’t stay together. used it for literally two minutes and it broke.

Every year I struggle to keep the pool floor clean. my backyard has a humongous tree as does my neighbors and since I’m solely responsible for its labor I’m always looking for something that’s easy to install. It has the best value for my money. Not too big not too heavy. I’m only 5 feet and I’m over 50 and something that’s easy to store. I have a shed in my backyard that stores our patio equipment but it’s not always accessible for other items the pool cleaner with brush, stores immaculately because it can disassemble it does require you to labor, but it’s very functional and easy to do.

I had one of those super HEAVY-duty wands with an excellent quality net that cost me a small fortune (around $75-$100 as I recall). I bought the expensive one thinking it would last a very long time. I didn't count of hubby not allowing me to hang it in the shade. He likes to lean it on my very tall lamp holder instead... in 100 degree plus sunshine. The wand is only as good as its weakest point(s). The adjusters are made of plastic. They disintegrated in the sun. This "cheap" aluminum pole has plastic on it too, but it won't reach my lamp holder (*snicker, snicker) and fits nicely on my shady hooks. Plus, aluminum is a natural heat sink which also means I don't burn my hands when I pick it up off the lamp holder and it's lightweight so my back isn't broken from cleaning the pool. My friends like to swim in my pool. That's why they help me assemble my new gondola, they don't clean my pool.

I buy a set like this each year. Nicely priced, withstand a year of use, and I have not spent a fortune and put it in the trash at the end of the season.
