Not perfect, but very good for the price
EDIT: If you're using this headset on PC there's a little switch on the back of the dongle, change this from XBOX to USB and you will now have the option for Discord Certified inside the Discord audio/video options, this avoids all the issues I had in the beginning.I've been using the AN5X for a few days now, which replaced my broken Blackshark V2 Pro 2023 and overall I prefer it over the more expensive Razer headset.I'll get the bad out of the way first though, and that's the microphone, it's slightly above average for a wireless headset but it's a noticeable downgrade over my Blackshark, it's not even in the same league. I also had major issues with it on Discord, all of my friends commented on how awful I sounded, but when I recorded myself it sounded fine, after a lot of frustration I discovered that I needed to disable noise gate and noise suppression built into Discord, as they seem to conflict with the Sonar software, after doing this my microphone improved 100x, but as I said earlier, it's still not amazing. I would also advise enabling compressor in Sonar and maxing it out, otherwise you'll be extremely quiet on Discord even at 200% volume. I would like to see Steelseries and Discord work together to add the AN5X to the certified list, this would remove the frustration I initially went through. Now onto the good, the headset is very comfortable, the ear pads are extremely soft and even with my big head they fit perfectly with almost no clamping force at all. I can game all day without any ear or head pain at all.Sound quality is good and bad, out of the box they're okay but luckily the Sonar software has the best EQ I've ever used, you can very precisely customize the sound and really bring out the potential of the headset. I would highly recommend that you check out the Youtube channel GadgetryTech, his EQ settings for music made a massive difference, music went from sounding decent to incredible, it was truly night and day. You can also switch between Bluetooth and wireless with a press of a button, so you can use your headset on PC or console and instantly switch to your phone for a call or to listen to music, this works much more seamlessly than on the Blackshark. The Sonar software is very competent and feature rich (on PC at least, you get far less features if you're using the headset on Xbox), and the AN5X comes with over 30 pre-installed EQ presets for different games, with some hits, and some misses. I personally use the Diablo IV, Call of Duty and Fallout 76 ones and they've all been great. I would recommend leaving spatial audio off though, as with all fake surround sound it just doesn't sound right, turning it off keeps the audio pure. I would also increase the clearcast AI noise cancellation to 75%, as my friends could hear me doing stuff in the background at the default 50%.I can't speak to the build quality or durability as I've only had the headset a few days, but it does feel very cheap as it's almost all plastic, which does make it very light (which is a positive in my book), but I cannot say if it will hold up to the test of time, my advice would be to treat it like a newborn baby. One last thing is noise isolation, this is personal preference whether it's a positive or a negative but it doesn't have the best noise isolation, so you can hear yourself speak and other noise around you, which I personally prefer, but if you want full isolation this isn't the headset for you, that being said it does cancel out a decent amount of background noise, just not all of it, and noticeably less than my Blackshark. I think it's the perfect middle ground, where you're not hearing every little thing but you can still hear someone speaking to you or the doorbell ringing.Overall for the price it's a great headset, you could make an argument for a high 4/5 or low 5/5. With a better microphone it would be an absolute slam dunk 5/5. I would have preferred it to retail at £150 MSRP with a better mic, but I'm very conscious of how my mic sounds so I don't become the "bad mic" guy on Discord.

Excellent
This is an excellent gami headset. Build quality is good, sound quality is amazing works with xbox series x spacial audio (dolby atmos, dtx), as well as PS5 3D sound. On top of that it also works with the switch and as a regular bluetooth headset for android devices which is also good for calls. The app it comes with has various sound presets for various games which only increases the sound fidelity but in all honesty the default out of the preset is amazing and there is no need for tweaking. Not forgetting the ridiculous 60hr battery, at this price point, these are a amazing and a bargain.

Great for gaming
Fantastic gaming headset the mic in particular is amazing. Really high quality mic. The sound is good also it's not blowing away highend headphones but for gaming it does just the trick. The app is especially useful for changing the EQ for each game this was a great idea to include. The wireless mode works excellent and even works in another room far from the receiver.

Light weight but robust.
I bought these specifically because of the phone app which has 100 presets. Not just game modes but also presets for music and movies which is cool.Sound wise it’s very similar to Nova Pro’s and a cool feature is that you can change the sound profiles independently while using Bluetooth especially for music.Comfort wise I found these hurt my ears after a while which surprised me because they’re so light but maybe I just need to adjust the fit.unfortunately a problem has arisen with the mike not working for some reason so I’ve requested a replacement set which hopefully will address that problem. They worked fine to start off with but ended up not connecting with the series X. Apart from that they are pretty good headphones for the money. I’d say they are pretty similar to the official Xbox wireless headphones in build quality and sound and compare favourably with the Nova Pro Wireless which are twice the price. It would be nice if Steelseries bought out an app that worked for all models not just the 5X.

Good purchase
Bought these for my son.He can’t hear me at all when he has them on which is a good thing for him (not for me!).The sound quality is good, good volume range which is easy to adjust and connects easily and quickly to devices. They are well made and charge quickly.

Perfect for me
Light weight, easy to connect and I liked the pre sets on the app.If you don’t need Bluetooth and wife connected at the same time, don’t go for 7x, once in my opinion, doesn’t worth spending much more just for that functionality, good quality, audio and microphones, and the fact of being wireless, is a great deal

Awful don't buy!
These headphones are awful to the point that the big fabric band running along the top of them is the most interesting part! The range and connection are awful. If you buy them for use with an Xbox, you will end up having to use the big long USB C to A converter. The headphones will constantly be trying to connect to every other Bluetooth device you have, even when you set them to the 2.4 mode to use the dongle. There are much better headphones out there, and for this price I expected more, have gone back to the £80 pair of turtle beach headphones I was using before and Im already feeling less stressed, wont be buying anything from steel series again thanks to the awful quality of these headphones.

Top quality
So light and comfortable to use for long gaming sessions. Sound quality is brilliant. Mic quality is crystal clear. You get nice battery life and fast charging. As a bonus you get parametric audio presets for different game genres giving you an actual sound advantage by able to hear specific acoustic sounds before othersHighly recommended
