Dupli-Color Scratch Fix All-in-1 Touch Up Paint, Gloss, Black, .50 fl. oz.

OK, perfect match for the very traditional Ford Oxford White color. Doingsometouch ups on a recent surplus auction fleet truck. Color is spot on and the chip repairs are very good. The use of the touch up pen for scratches is a work in progress. After a full multi-day cure, I'll cut that down with some light 400gr on the finger tip and then retouch as needed before blending. It ain't perfect, but it's darn good stuff.

I’ve included before and after pictures to show this product! it works well with covering my insane black gashes from grazing a wall 😭 it dries quickly <45 minutes and for saving money as a college student, this does the job with covering gnarly marks without the huge cosmetic bill from a shop. happy with my paint pen!

Bought this for white car touchup. Works but not an exact match for my car. It worked and was super easy to apply.

This touch-up paint was an excellent match for my Toyota’s Magnetic Gray (1G3) paint. The all-in-one design is very convenient, with an abrasive tip to prep the chip, a fine-tip pen and brush for applying paint, and a built-in clear coat to finish the repair. It’s ideal for rock chips and small scratches, helping prevent rust while making blemishes much less noticeable. Just be sure to shake it thoroughly for a few minutes before use and apply several light coats for the best results. While no paint pen will be completely invisible on larger damage, this is one of the best DIY touch-up options available for Toyota Magnetic Gray.

For what it's supposed to do, it works. But... don't expect it to match your paint color, especially if your paint has aged. Aged as in, not anywhere near brand new. Due to improper washes, contaminants from the road, or depending on how good or bad of a paint the factory used. This will only fill in small rock chips and slight scratches. I had initially bought this, after watching a ChrisFix YouTube video on how to repair a deep key scratch. But of course, the car he worked on was newer than my 2007 Accord. This products, Taffeta White paint, is a lot brighter/whiter than the factory/existing paint. But... I took the risk and bought this, thinking I could get the same result, which I followed step by step as the YouTube video. It filled in the scratch, but also my year Accord, also happens to be part of the year(s) when Honda used really cheap/bad paint. So therefore, the sanding and polishing stage left some of the surrounding factory paint to fade. But again, that's not the fault of this product. That's part of both user error and Honda's poor factory paint in 2007.. Nonetheless, I also used this product for small rock chips I had all over the car, and it definitely hid them flawlessly! For that, I am happy. Key scratches... word of advice, if you don't care too much of the outcome and just want to protect it from rust, then by all means. Otherwise take it to an actual body shop. Or if you plan to DIY, then sand down the ENTIRE panel, and purchase an aerosol can and redo the entire panel, blending in the new paint with the existing paint. Just my $0.02~

Paint seemed to be okay, but the color didn't match the paint code on my truck. Not sure why, but I do use the clear coat end from time to time anyway. Not a lot of paint in the pen but it's okay for a small touch up anyway. Double check your codes and reviews before you order. :P

I was in love with this product as soon as I used it. I bought my touch up paint from my dealership and it was horrible. Why would a dealership have a worse quality product I asked myself before I ordered it, but the color is near perfect and the clear coat helps smooth the surface just like it says to make it look nearly flawless. The only suggestion I have about the clear coat is just brush over the area once otherwise it will look sticky. Love this product otherwise!

It doesn't work, I tried using it and the the thing would not work, the brush part of the touch up paint would not open either, i tried almost anything to open it but the thing would not budge, I'm very upset with my purchase and know never to buy any Dupli-Color products ever again
